Guest guest
GURUJI , First of all i sincerely thank you for explaining my previous confusion, guruji, plz clarify this also. As we know all dat 8TH (house A) LORD form any given house (HOUSE B) is functional karka for house B. As such, upachaya houses from house A are 3, 6, 10,11 for finding any time event.6th house from A id denoted as house B, and 10th house as house C. The 3rd and 11th houses are secondary upachaya houses (house D and E). So my question is ..... 1. If lord of house D and house E are only to give results for a given house B then what is the role of lord of house A and house C in finding ny time event? 2. Do lord of houses A , B and C have nything to do for finding ny time event? even if they have more points in KAS power WS. 3. Or they are just other planets in different houses situated? thanxs..... anup Food fight? Enjoy some healthy debate in the Answers Food & Drink Q & A. Guest guest
Anup, I am sure Ash will answer your question. I want to put out my understanding.May be I am completely off. 1. Houses A,B,C are used to judge the strength of the house. So asktakvarga of A , B, C houses for house B will give the strength of house B. Not sure about lords of A, B, C what role they play in the event.May be Ash can clarify this. Is it also a fact that if lords of A,B, or C aspect house B then they become less inclined to give results of house B ? I have one more question on Mahadasha lord. In one of the lessons it was said that the houses owned by mahadasha lord, the sixth house from that house is what mahadasha lord is inclined to give results of. So for aries lagna if venus mahadasha is running then being lord of 2 and 7th it is inclined to give results for 12th house and 7 th house.( The karakatwa priciple covers that aspect. I am not sure what role placement of mahadasha lord plays in results for the mahadasha. Does it tend to give results for 6th from its placement house as well ? Thanks Satish Satish --- x y <dalh_1 wrote: > GURUJI , First of all i > sincerely thank you for explaining my previous > confusion, > guruji, plz clarify this also. > As we know all dat 8TH (house A) LORD form > any given house (HOUSE B) > is functional karka for house B. > As such, upachaya houses from house > A are 3, 6, 10,11 for finding any > time event.6th house from A id denoted as house B, > and 10th house as house C. > The 3rd and 11th houses are secondary upachaya > houses (house D and E). > So my question is ..... > > 1. Guest guest
Dear Satish, Very good answers, it means you are picking up KAS well. HOUSE A IS KARAK. HOUSE B AND C HAVE SAME LORDS OF NAKSHATRA TOO. THE TOTAL OF HOUSE A + B + C GIVES US THE BASIC STRENGTH FOR HOUSE B. HOUSE A IS CALLED KARAK STHAN HOUSE B IS CALLED PHAL STHAN HOUSE C IS CALLED PHALIT STHAN. THEY PLAY MOST IMPORTANT ROLE IN TIMING OF EVENT. IF SATURN ASPECTS HOUSE A , B AND C OR THEIR LORDS THEN EVENTS GET DELAYED. > Is it also a fact that if lords of A,B, or C aspect > house B then they become less inclined to give results > of house B ? ASH : ANY PLANET ASPECTING A HOUSE DO NOT GIVE RESULT, THEIR SD'S GIVE RESULT OR IF THEY ARE GIVING RESULT, IT MEANS THEY MUST BE SAMDHARMI TO A VERY POWERFUL SIGNIFICATOR AND THAT SIGNIFICATOR MUST HAVE SOME REASON NOT TO COME FORWARD AND GIVE THE RESULT. > > I have one more question on Mahadasha lord. I am not sure what role placement > of mahadasha lord plays in results for the mahadasha. > Does it tend to give results for 6th from its > placement house as well ? > ASH : SATISH, THIS CONCEPT IS SIMPLE. FIRST THING, HOUSE A IS KARAK STHAN STHAN AND ITS LORD BECOMES KARAK. THERE ARE 2 TYPES OF KARAK, ONE IS NATURAL KARAK AND OTHER IS FUNCTIONAL KARAK. FUNCTIONAL KARAK IS ONE STEP AHEAD OF NATURAL KARAK. THIS IS GIVEN IN LESSON. NOW, ARIES LAGNA, MEANS VENUS IS 2ND LORD AND 7TH LORD. SO 2ND HOUSE IS KARAK FOR 7TH AND 7TH HOUSE IS KARAK FOR 12TH. SO NATURALLY, VENUS IS CALLED KALATRA KARAK OR KARAK FOR SPOUSE, AND ALSO VENUS SHOWS PLEASURES AND 12TH HOUSE IS THE HOUSE OF MOKSH AND ULTIMATE PLEASURES AND AS PER KAS, WE CONSIDER MOKSH MEANS ENJOYMENT AND RIGHT HERE IN THIS LIFE AND NOT AS GENERALLY ASSUMED I.E. AFTER DEATH. SO VENUS DENOTES PLEASURES. NOW, SAY VENUS IS PLACED IN 5TH HOUSE IN LEO WITH 6 BINDUS, THEN IT WILL ALSO IN ADDITION ACT AS KARAK FOR 10TH HOUSE TOO. A PLANET WITH MORE THAN 4 BINDUS MEANS IT IS NOBLE AND ITS IN 5TH HOUSE SO ITS A NOBLE PENNANT. SO SAY IF A NOBLE PERSON IS LIVING IN SOMEONE'S HOUSE AND SOME POSTMAN COMES AND DELIVERS A LETTER THEN THAT PLANET IS NOBLE SO IT WILL STEP IN INSTEAD OF ITS OWNER AND TAKE THE LETTER. THIS IS AN ANALOGY. SO SUCH A VENUS WILL PLAY A ROLE FOR 7TH, 12TH AND 10TH. SO ALL ANTAR DASHA INSIDE VENUS MD WILL HAVE SOME TOUCH OF THESE HOUSE. SO IN VENUS/VENUS A PERSON MIGHT FACE SOME OPPOSITION AT WORK DUE TO SUBORDINATES, AS VENUS IS LOD FOR 10TH, AND ITS 2ND LORD SO WORRIES, ITS ALSO IN MAHADASHA OF VENUS SO IT MEANS ITS RELATED TO AUTHORITY OR 10TH HOUSE MATTERS, ALSO DURING SUCH A TIME, HE MIGHT ALSO BE GIVEN SOME FOREIGN ASSIGNMENT ETC ETC ETC, DEPENDING ON HOW OTHER PLANETS ARE AND THE STATUS OF VENUS. IF VENUS IS LESS THAN 3DEG20 FROM SUN AND ASPECTED BY SATURN AND SATURN ASPECTS LUMINIARY THEN IN SUCH A CASE IT MIGHT EVEN DENY MARRIAGE OR SUCH PERSONS MIGHT NOT GET HAPPINESS IN MARITIAL LIFE AS QUALITY OF VENUS IS GONE. BEFORE I GO INTO FURTHER DETAIL, GO SLOW AND GRASP TILL HERE. > Thanks > > Satish CHEERS !!! Guest guest
Dear Ash, Looking at the WS, I see that house totals column in the WS does not add to the addition of points for 3,6,10,11. Is this the column to look for house strength ? You mentioned A+B+C gives the basic strength. Where is this total in the worksheet. The " house totals " column looks like it is addition of 4 houses and not 3(A+B+C) Thanks Satish > > > > ASH : HOUSE A, B AND C ARE VERY IMPORTANT. Guest guest
Dear Satish, The house total means its the total of all 7 planets for the house. I think if you add those then they will come to the proper value. Yes, its placed next to the 3:6:10:11 points but do not get confused. Cheers !!! Guest guest
Thanks Ash, So the strength of the house you talked about is total of A+B+C sarvashtak points. So if A +B+C totals more than 3*28 then we can say house is strong. Or should we use this house total for the house total column ? Guest guest
Dear Satish, No, No. What I am saying is different. Ok, If you Go to any of house WS that we are using to compute the strengh of a House say take 7th house So in the WS , go to H7 Worksheet. In that for each planet see how we are coming to total points. So for Sun for 7th house, say we are computing the Total points, that we see in Summary for Sun for 7th house, if we go to H7 then we can see that first step is we total A + B + C points means these are SAV values for 2nd, 7th and 11th house. say sun is contributing 5 points for 2nd, 3 bindus for 7th and 3 for 11th then Basic strength is 5+3+3 = 11 points i.e Column H22 on H7 WS. Next step we check for planets in 4th house and add the power if making 4:10 so like that So this is how we arrive at the final total what we say in Row 17, and it all begins with first finding basic strength. Hope its clear. Cheers !!! Ash -> http://www.ashtro.ca , SPK <aquaris_rising wrote: > > Thanks Ash, > > So the strength of the house you talked about is total > of A+B+C sarvashtak points. Guest guest
Dear Ash, Now I am confused. In the summary sheet. Where is row 17 ? There are 3 tables. The first one is sarvastak table. It just tells for each sign how many points and which planet contributes them. In the second table we have 1st column as house, second column is total SAV points, then columns for each planets. The to the right it has 3,6,10,11 SAV points and then last column is " house Totals " . If we add all the points from all the planets for a particular house they add up to the " house total " points. That is clear Now where is row 17 in the summary work sheet ? Also how do we add up totals for A+B+C to get basic house strength ? Is there a column where basic house strength is calculated and presented(i.e. derived from A,b,and C. Thanks for the help Satish Also what are the sign values at the top of this table ? --- ashsam73 <ashsam73 wrote: > Dear Satish, > > No, No. What I am saying is different. > > Ok, If you Go to any of house WS that we are using > to compute the > strengh of a House say take 7th house > > So in the WS , go to H7 Worksheet. > > In that for each planet see how we are coming to > total points. > > So for Sun for 7th house, say we are computing the > Total points, that > we see in Summary for Sun for 7th house, if we go to > H7 then we can > see that first step is we total A + B + C points > means these are SAV > values for 2nd, 7th and 11th house. > > say sun is contributing 5 points for 2nd, 3 bindus > for 7th and 3 for > 11th then Basic strength is 5+3+3 = 11 points i.e > Column H22 on H7 WS. > > Next step we check for planets in 4th house and add > the power if > making 4:10 so like that > > So this is how we arrive at the final total what we > say in Row 17, and > it all begins with first finding basic strength. > > Hope its clear. > > Cheers !!! > Ash -> http://www.ashtro.ca > > , SPK > <aquaris_rising wrote: > > > > Thanks Ash, > > > > So the strength of the house you talked about is > total > > of A+B+C sarvashtak points. Guest guest
Dear Satish, If you scroll in the various sheets at the bottom, you will see 12 sheets marked H1, H2, H3..... H12. Go to those sheets. The summary WS is derived from those. So, For H1 means House 1, you can see right at the bottom in the column 74 of the H1 worksheet the total of all planets for 1st house. I have taken those points and have put them in the Summary. Similarly, for 2nd house, i.e. if you go to H2 worksheet, the calculations for the total power from sun thru saturn for 2nd house how it is derived is given. I have taken the value of Final Point Strength i.e. Row D74 on all sheets from H1 to H12 and put them in summary so you can see all the final points in a nice table. However how those values are arrived at, the details you can see from the Worksheets labeled H1 thru H12. Hope that clarifies, if not ask again. Cheers !!! Guest guest
Dear Satish, i guess you click say h7 for the house 7th strength.. and scroll all the way up.. u see the heading data entry and a tabular format. it would first show the asc.. and the house B and the house 12th from B. in this case house 7 and 6th. then it would show the NK and FK. then later on it adds points in house A, B and C and the total is shown in the row saying 3... that shwos A+B+C, and other calcualtions are shown.. and scroll down in the tabular format when u reach saying 17.. gives the final strength of the planets for the particular house... which is nothing but the strenght given in the small tabular format at the lower end on the sheet. i hope i didnt confuse you. if i had time i would have explained with the screen shots. regards harjeet , SPK <aquaris_rising wrote: > > Dear Ash, > > Now I am confused. > > In the summary sheet. Guest guest
Dear Ash, Harjeet, Thanks. Yes I see the H sheets and at the bottom the points for all planets is shown. I am still not clear how does one get basic strength of the house. IS this total calculated and presented in any worksheet ? Secondly, why do we not add the SAV points in houses A,B, and C for a given house add them up and declare that to be the basic strength of the house ? Also what are the sign values in the second table of the summary sheet ? Appreciate all your help, thanks Satish --- ashsam73 <ashsam73 wrote: > Dear Satish, > > If you scroll in the various sheets at the bottom, > you will see 12 > sheets marked H1, H2, H3..... Guest guest
Dear Satish, Refer to Lesson 7 and Lesson 26. If you would have noticed so far that we have not used sign placement for timing of event. We are using it for finding the quality of result. For timing of event, we do not use Multiplication factor. House A, B and C are the basics. Theory about it is given in initial lessons. Cheers !!! Ash -> http://www.ashtro.ca , SPK <aquaris_rising wrote: > > Dear Ash, Harjeet, > > Thanks. Guest guest
dear SPK, i agree that in WS there is only Basic strength for a planet and TOTAL STRENGTH is not calculated or given in this WS .May be i m wrong at sm point but i am unable to still get this in over all WS in KAS3.1.1 anup SPK <aquaris_rising wrote: Dear Ash, Looking at the WS, I see that house totals column in the WS does not add to the addition of points for 3,6,10,11. The " house totals " column looks like it is addition of 4 houses and not 3(A+B+C) Thanks Satish > > > > ASH : HOUSE A, B AND C ARE VERY IMPORTANT. Guest guest
I found the TOTAL STRENGTH chart in KAS WS perhapes, and i am sure this is plz see H1-H2-H3 ....sheets and u will get everything clear anup x y <dalh_1 wrote: dear SPK, i agree that in WS there is only Basic strength for a planet and TOTAL STRENGTH is not calculated or given in this WS .May be i m wrong at sm point but i am unable to still get this in over all WS in KAS3.1.1 anup SPK <aquaris_rising wrote: Dear Ash, Looking at the WS, I see that house totals column in the WS does not add to the addition of points for 3,6,10,11. Guest guest
Dear Anup, It is better you go through the lesson. If you say that Total Strength is not calculated I the KAS worksheet..... that leaves me speechless and baffled...................................... I think its better you first go through the Lessons and read each and every one of them and carefully. Take one chart, and calculated it manually i.e the BAV, SAV, and the Worksheet for all 12 houses. Then make a summary of it in a nice way. There after u touch the KAS WS and then check your manual calculations with the WS and I think all such questions will get solved and u will appreciate the WS better and also how tedious it is to all the calculations by hand. If you do that, I think all your doubts will get cleared. After that you can then tell me as to if Total strength is computed or not. Cheers !!!
