Lets break this into the question the dictum that Saturn enhances the house it resides in and jupiter inhibits it. The reasoning put forward in discussions is that as jupiter aspects house C from its station, it render it incapable of giving the result of the house it resides. OK that is understood. Now from your earlier mail it sounded like guru will have more points in the house it resides so it will aspect malefically house C so will inhibit house B of its residence...OK Now lets take saturn, saturn enhances the house it resides in, as it does not aspect house C or A ....But it resides in B so it should make it incapable of giving results of the house( Is this correct assumption)..ofcourse with exception wehn it also becomes LoD or LoE or samadharmi to LoD or LoE. So hpow can we say it enhances the house it resides in. If we take the same argument of bindus..i.e. saturn will have less bindus where it resides so it will aspect benefically. Even with that it does not aspect house A or C so how can it enhance the result of house it resides in. It does aspect house D, but that is not the house where we look for strength of house B. I am not sure why the dictum for saturn... Yes I understand how it can be better in dustaan or upachaya.
