In general terms, one should not be fearful of rahu, or mars mahadasha . . .. there are many variables and nuances to consider that are unique to one's own chart. and for many, rahu and/or mars can be tremendously successful. The lady whose chart I referenced experienced significant success during the first half of Rahu. And her mars mahadasha was mostly positive in nature as well.
