Dear Ash,

I was going through lesson 15 that talks about how to

place an even in a particular dasha. There are a few

questions/confusions that I have.

It talks about how to find houses that a planet can

give results of

4th and 8th from the houses it owns and 4 and 8th from

its placement. Then it talks about karakatwtas of

those houses and who owns those karaktwas. The

eleimination process is not clear as to how we pick

the house the result will be associated with.

May be if we can look at more examples it will be of

help. I am looking at the puzzle that was just posted

In this case Guru is in 4th house and owns 4th, and

7th house.

So he is keen to give results of houses 2,10 & 7,11 &

7 and 7,11.

From this point on do we look at karakatwa ownership ?

If we do then those ownerships are venus, venus,

saturn, saturn. Now I am not clear what we do with

these karakttwa lords ? Do we look whether any of them

have relationship with main lord. In this case rahu

represents venus.

Please eleborate

Thanks

Satish

Dear Satish,

MD shows karaktwa and AD is used for timing of event. All AD's in a

particular MD will have its flavor. I have used that same thing in

solving the puzzle.

Also in your text you have written that planet gives result of 4th or

8th from where its situated, make sure that that planet is with more

than 4 bindus. So then it will go into House D or E and it will be

with more than 4 bindus and thereby becoming eager to deliver the result.

Yes, with more practice, things will start to get more clear.

But I did give the approach what I used and tried to solve it in a

methodical manner so that the procedure becomes clear. Rest is practice.

Hope that helps,

Cheers !!!

Dear Ash,

Thanks. The result was 4th house matter ( change of

residence) or family dispute. The procedure followed

in the lesson and even here gets too many houses

activated, how to pick which house will it point to

precisely. In lesson 15 the karakatwas of the 4/8

houses owned by planet and 4/8 from situation is

taken. That is which sign is 6th from the said house

or which sign the said house is 8th from and then

house lords of this house ( 6th from the houses

arrived by 4/8 exercise) are gone through. How do

these lords come into play to zero in on the event

house is not clear.

Thanks

Satish

Dear Satish,

The answer to your question is not simple. It will take practice.

LoD and LoE are very powerful concept as they are eager to give

events. Rest is trying to figure out what each planet means w.r.t

karkatwa and also what house are triggering and pdf hones into the

area of life that might trigger and daily points will show the trend.

Rest is assembling this info together w.r.t desh kaal paatra or paristhit.

Yes, actually, in Horary it becomes easier as all this similar thing

is w.r.t a question so if the question is based on say income and if

5th house is triggering then u can say it might be unearned income or

say via speculation, if 6th house is triggering then it can mean

social status or job related, 2nd might mean wealth so like that.

Here such questions are not easy as no clue is given, is this a happy

event or not, so here take help of daily points so that gives trend.

Then PDF will show the transit of sun so that means the area of life

thats highlighted and then study pdfs in detail to see. Then there

after u see sector and antra and that shows the timing of event or

what event happens and MD will shows karaktwa so all AD will have that

flavour, so in this case Ra is in 9th so its related to 2nd so family

and its also sd to 2 other planets so u can study those as well.

In the end I would like to say that to answer such questions to

perfection might take some time but the most important thing is the

the logical approach to reach to such conclusion and then its practice.

To answer this question we are going reverse to what we were doing so

far to timing events blindly to find the date of event. Here date of

event is given and we are supposed to find what might have happened.

These are some thoughts.....

The final perfection will come only though practice based on a solid

approach that is given in KAS.

Hope that helps,

Cheers !!!
