WHAT IS DST(DAYLIGHT SAVE TIME), WHY IS IT NECESSARY & WHAT SHOULD BE SELECTED IN OPTIONS. 2. DO WE NEED TO CALCULATE ANASYAMSA OURSELVES OUR THE SOFTWARE WILL CALCULATE ON ITS OWN. Guest guest
Dear Rajan, The answers to your quarries are as follows: 1. Day light saving time,(During war in India it was adopted from 01/9/1942 to 14/10/1945 by advancing one hour from Standard time), at present is normally adopted by western countries (like USA, Canada etc. during summer seasons) and it normally vary in different years. Exact duration for different years you can get it from internet search for the place and Time Zone. 2. Different Ayanamsa options are normally built-in in a good software, you only require to give the option which Ayanamsa you want in your calculations. Best of luck. K. Guest guest
DST, stands for Daylight Savings Time is used in many Euprpean countries and USA. The time is changed for summer by advancing the clock by one hour and it is reverted back to satndard time in October. If the chart you are casting is for birth in India there is no DST as india does not change the clock --- " rajan.chand " <rajan.chand wrote: > RESPECTED LEARNED GURUS > > I HAVE STARTED WORKING ON KAS SOFTWARE & AM CONFUSED > AT SOME PLACES. > PLEASE CLARIFY MY DOUBTS:- > > 1.
