Sun and Moon

Dear Ash,

 

I am hesitantly asking you this question.

Why we dont take Moon transit instead of Sun to find timing of events?

Cant we norrow down the event more minutely becuz Moon crosses a sign in

2.25days

where as Sun takes one month.

Is there any special reason for taking Sun transit for an event ?

 

I have read this in a book also.
