Guest guest
Dear Visveswaran - Just read thru all the lessons and make notes on what you don't understand. Then pose these questions to the group in general. Someone will always come forward to try to help you with the basics. The whole point here is to make an effort to learn this on your own. Hopefully you have a vedic background, because it is essential in learning KAS. If you don't have a clue on Vedic basics, then this system is going to be a huge learning curve for you. The most important thing to remember about how to count the Upachaya houses is how to count their relationships in regard to each other more than anything else. They are set in a fixed pattern to each other which will actually rotate as a group as you change the B house from one house to another. Therefore we consider the B house the actual "focus" house depending on what area of interest we are concerned with. The A house is the result or the karaka of the B house in the sense that the condition of A needs to be determined first in order to better judge how to determine the effects of the B house focus. Therefore it would be wise to look at both houses equally and use the strength or weakness of the A house to determine how the B house turns out. For more information and to get a better sense of what I'm talking about, please refer to Visuals 2 and 3 on my website in the KAS Visuals section. Since Houses A and B are in a 6:8 relationship to each other, Visual 3 will be especially informative. http://krushna.sageasita.com Hope this helps - Donna - eagle reagle Thursday, March 13, 2008 7:07 AM regarding counting of upachaya houses Dear guruji, Anup, and Donna.belated happy birthday to donna.from where to start counting upachaya houses ? from house 'A' or 'B'?and house 'A' is eighth from 'B' it means functional karka house ?regard.gunvant GDPATEL Now you can chat without downloading messenger.
