Respected Gurus and Dear Friends,

To introduce myself briefly - I am Mohnish and I have been a member of

this group for about 2 years. I had first come across KAS about 4

years back and it took me some time to go over the

lessons/spreadsheets to begin to understand it. I could have tried

applying the method to my own chart but I am a beginner and lack the

experience and insights.

I sincerely request for your help in getting me out of the confusion I

have regarding my current career options. Given the number of wrong

career-decisions I have made in the past I need to get it right this

time since I am not getting any younger.

My question: Please let me know pursuing what line (or lines) will be

most rewarding and satisfying for me.

So here below I try to present my case in the format required by the

group.

1) Complete birth data.

Mohnish Feb-11-1967, 6:00 pm, Trichur, Kerala, India (76E13, 10N31)

2) Education level of the native.

Masters (ME in Civil Engineering)

3) Means of earning a living, and when the job began. Any change in

jobs, date of pay raise, etc.

The jobs, nature of work, join and end dates are as follows:

Civil Engineer Management Trainee Jul-1989 Dec-1989

Civil Engineer Design Jan-1990 Oct-1991

Master Degrees Jan-1992 May-1995

Transportation Planner Associate Consultant Jun-1995 Jun-1997

IT Professional Developer thru Manager Jun-1997 Dec-2007

Currently not working

4) If married then give the date of marriage. Please also mention if

it is a pre-arranged marriage or a love marriage. Also, give the

chart of the life partner.

Arranged marriage on Apr-11-1999

Wife Mar-14-1975, 7:02 am, Calcutta, West Bengal, India (88E22, 22N34)

5) If there are problems in the marital life, please specify with date.

None, except she is more worried about my joblessness.

6) If there are children, then give their dates of birth.

Daughter 1 Jul-31-2001, 12:09 am, Palo Alto, California, USA

(122W08' 31'', 37N26' 31'')

(Daylight Savings ON hence 7hrs west of GMT)

Daughter 2 Jan-25-2006, 1:29:30 pm, Sunnyvale,California,USA (122W04'

52'', 37N22' 11'')

(Daylight Savings OFF hence 8hrs west of GMT)

7) Specify whether parents are still living. If not, give their dates

of passing.

Both are alive.

8) Any accident, or similar event with date.

Jun-19-1998 Surgery for piles

Apr-23-2004 Repetitive stress injury to right shoulder

Jun-28-2005 Surgery for hernia

Some more supporting data:

At this point I can find work as:

Transportation Planner (from my ME + experience)

IT Manager (from my experience)

Consultant - Statistical and Financial (from my ME + experience)

Then I have some interests that I have been following up as and when

time permits:

Astrology – I left it at a point where I realized that I need a guru

and some more stability in my thinking/career to proceed more

productively.

Stock Market – I am not a regular investor but the once I approached

this with academic rigour I realized that it is doable and need not be

a gamble. For now even this interest is on hold since I realized I

need to study more in a systematic way.

Writing – This has been a dream and has been proceeding at a very

slow pace in the last couple of years.

Teaching – I have never tried my hand at it but have researched it

and would like to try it some time since I noticed at work that I am

better than average when it comes to mentoring people.

To rephrase my question: Of the possible job options and interests

which should I focus on (and which should I not waste time on) to have

a satisfying career and fulfilling occupation.

As usual any other interesting insights would be very much appreciated.

Thanking you all for your time,

Mohnish

Dear Anup,

The delay im marriage was partly due to me taking time in my higher

studies and finding a stable job and partly because matching

horoscopes were few.

Thanking You,

Mohnish

Check your marriage date, your first job etc with leo lagna Please confirm, some research type work might not been approved after Dec2006 or you have taken decision yourself to leave your job. Dear Anup,

You are correct - I took the decision to leave work in Dec 2006. And

in 2007 I left the US to settle in India.

How do I check with Leo Lagna? What change should I make to the

current casting of the horoscope?

Please let me know the analysis and the timings.

Thanking you very much for your time and efforts,

Mohnish

Dear Anup,

You are correct it was in April 2007 that I moved to India. And now I

am still looking for a job in India. Also some contemplations have

begun on trying to find the next job outside of India.

Thanking you for all the readings,

Mohnish
