Guest guest
All, More I use the worksheet, I realize that it is always a good idea to force recalculation of the chart everytime it is opened. The way I do this is by changing the birth time, and then changing it back to the original birth time. I have realized in many charts, that if I don't force recalculation, upon opening a chart, I don't get the same lagna and/or points as the first time. And, in the Transit North Chart, without forcing recalculation, many times, the transit data and the chart do not match. For example, in the transit data, I get transit lagna as 1Le05 but in the chart, the first house is shown as Virgo. I am curious to know from others if they have the same issue, and if there is any solution to it. Best, NS

Guest guest
Dear Visveswaran, No, it is not same, the display is same, so that u can get the daily points just by looking at the transit chart and getting the SAV points from Rasi. If you study the Degree of planets, then you will find that the Ascendent is also marked and it is not in the 1st house only. For the ease of use, its been intentionally programmed in that manner. A lot of thought has been put in the design w.r.t to displaying particular things in particular way, and also the colour coding as well so that is is pleasing to the eye. IF you look at numbers for far too long, then your eyes might get tired and thats when the colour coding, will help ease that tiredness and help you concentrate. A lot of thought has gone into each and every thing you see in the program and also its been put in a particular sequence as well. Cheers !!! Guest guest
Ash, do you know why many times, the points, and the lagna are not same as the original chart? Why is a forced recalculation required? I am sure it has to do the MS EXCEL, and there is gotta be some that can be fixed. You and Donna seem to be the EXCEL expert, and I am sure you can figure it out. Guest guest
NS, Please refer to Ash's message 14270 for recalculation. He suggested exactly the same thing for my chart. Guest guest
Dear Nirvana, The points will change if the lagna changes. This is a known issue. We will get to it at some point, but in the mean time, there is a work around and one can use it. Right now, we have got 101 things on the go, apart from our personal lives and a full time job. So, bear with us, and use the software intelligently. Its not a big deal, to force a change, a little inconvenient maybe, but a hell of a lot easier than manually do all those calculations eh. What say you? ;-) Cheers !!! Guest guest
i agree with Ash on this. the worksheet is a very useful tool to work with as far as KAS calculations are concerned. those numbers are all there as soon as the chart is cast. much appreciation goes your way for the passion and thoughts you have put into the excel worksheet with regard to colors, boxes, tables, pdf, etc which are all part of the analysis and too useful to express in words. donna, ash and others have put in all their knowledge and made it workable. Ash, if the lessons were to start off any time in the near future, it would be a good idea to describe steps also to do the analysis with the use of those boxes with scores appearing under the natal chart in the worksheet. i am aware there is an index in yellow background which says what is there for what. i wish you guys charged a nominal fee for these Pravin and other modules. no vidya without guru dakshina. it is an integral part of our culture. please do consider my suggestion and ask each and everyone of us who are invited to learn KAS Pravin to send in the money before lessons can start to a single person in india, say to krushnaji the founder of this group without whom there will be no KAS at all, or just to anyone who can be nominated for this purpose. out of this expenses towards KAS meetings, workshops, etc can be met. maybe Rs.1000/person per course? i know its a lot of work for all those who are trying to help us understand this system better, besides having to do your own work too. Ash, i hope you will let us know of the arrival of the most awaited guest of your family. best wishes mahalakshmi Has your work life balance shifted? Find out. Guest guest
dear ash thank you for informing me of this most awaited news which i dint know! i shall look up the KAS Pravin group. is this a separate group which i have to join now? it is not noble thought on my offer for fee. it is our custom not to avail free service or even vidya. it is believed it will serve no purpose if one does not pay some guru dakshina for our learning any vidya. also dont we spend much more on eating pizzas, dining out, on travels, etc then why shd we tighten our fists when it comes to paying some money to learn. i appreciate krushnaji's gesture. its like a father who is doing his duty. its also upto the sons and daughters to realise it is our turn now to do something for this benevolent man who comes forward so generously to conduct these classes for beginners this way. think of all the benefit, sitting at home we learn lessons in our own time and pace. no going to some place, no moving out of our cosy homes at all. at least for this you guys shd collect a fee. this is my humble view and i am sure each one who is registered will agree with me in this. thank you again for pointing out that the lessons have begun already and here i am still waiting for it to come by! god bless mahalakshmi Chocoholics' paradise!
