Guest guest Posted June 9, 2008 Report Share Posted June 9, 2008 Ash, Going through the old messages, I found this - If a planet is placed in 4th house from its own house, and has more than 4 points, the karaktwa of the owned house increases. For example, for cancer lagna, if Venus is placed in 2nd house with more than 4 points, then in its period, 4th house significations will increase. Based on this, for Scorpio lagna, if Jupiter is placed in 8th house (4th from 5th), and has more than 4 points, then in its period, 10th house's significations will be the focus. And, in the sub period of 6th lord (that is, Jupiter/Mars period), the person will lose his or her status. Is 10th house also seen for younger brother's death (8th from 3rd)? There is one principle in KAS that any planet occupying a house with more than 4 bindus helps the 10th house. If the 10th house is owned by him then it is very good otherwise also it will help 10th house. This comes under 4:10 relationship which will be taught in due course. Planet may be in any position . 2. Sanjiva ji, Guruji here is trying to explain the difference between Quantity result and Timing of event. Take Boss and Subordinate case. A planet in 4th house from an house means it is in in the subordinate house. Now here Guruji has taken a planet in 4th house of the chart with say 6 bindus. So in that case, its in the Subordinate (4th house) from its boss who is Lagna (10th from 4th). So the planet with 6 bindus is a Noble Subordinate and will help the boss. Now here if the same planet is 6th lord means LoE for lagna and is in 4th house so it is noble subordinate then it will help lagna nicely and increase the quantity. Actually these concepts are not clearly defined in VA. The quanity, Quantum, result and Timing. In KAS each thing is taken. So as far as Timing of EVent is concerned, the planet being LoE from Lagna is eager and it will FURNISH the timing of event. The 2nd part is dealing more with Quantity and Quantum of result which is not directly related to Timing of event. Now in other case, for 7th house example, if any planet is in 4th house with say 6 bindus then it will be eager to give result for 7th house and 11th house, why? Because, our laws is that planet with more points is noble tennant and is a benefic or exalted planet based on bindus and here it is in 10th place of in House D with more than 4 bindus and for 11th house it becomes in House E with more than 4 bindus therefore it will become very eager to furnish the TIMING OF EVENT. Now subject to condition it is NOT 6TH LORD. Here 6th lord we know is NOT GOOD for 7th house matters. Now u can imagine that if the planet that is not good for 7th house itself goes in Hosue D or E and with more points then it will spoil the 7th house instead of helping it. 6th lord for 7th house is culprit, however for 1st house it is LoE, for 9th house it is LoD for 2nd house it is LoC and for 11th house it is LoA. So here its application of basics only. 1) 4:10 principle. 4th house is subordinate and 10th house is boss. 2) Malefic and Benefic planet based on < 4 or > 4 points. 3) 6th lord is malefic for 7th house i.e .the basic. 4) Upchaya theory.
