Guest guest
Ash, Sorry I am not able to get the answer from reading the chapter 6 may be I don't understand enough about AYANAMSHA. Can you please explain what I can change the birth data to reflect the vimshottari timings as seen in the other astrological programs. Not sure that's correct but please clarify? Thanks, Rakesh , " Ash's Corner " <kas wrote: > > Dear Rakesh ji, > > Please download the lessons and go through lesson 6 I think it will become > clear. > > Cheers !!! > Ash -> <http://www.ashtro.ca/> http://www.ashtro.ca > > rakeshmohan888 [rakeshmohan888] > Wednesday October 29, 2008 11:00 PM > > Vimshottari Dasha times difference in KAS2006 v3.2.1 > > Dear Forum members, > I started to use the KAS2006 v3.2.1 program and see that the > natl dasa timings are different from other astrological programs like > Jaganath hora. Guest guest
Dear Bhawanishankar ji, I think you might have meant “Widely used Ayanamsa” rather than “Traditional”, because the ayanamsa which we call Krushna’s Ayanamsa has come down as a part of KAS system via the Guru ji and his Guru ji before him and their ancestors, so I guess, if you talk of “Tradition” then Krushna’s Ayanamsa would be or could be considered very Traditional. Guest guest
Dear Sir, please check the calculation mode in the software you are using. Dasha can be based either for 360 days or 365.25 days per year. Some software are also having lunar year too so this period variation is quite possible.Dr.Ashwin Rawal--- On Thu, 30/10/08, rakeshmohan888 <rakeshmohan888 wrote: rakeshmohan888 <rakeshmohan888 Vimshottari Dasha times difference in KAS2006 v3.2.1 Date: Thursday, 30 October, 2008, 8:30 AM Dear Forum members,I started to use the KAS2006 v3.2.1 program and see that the natl dasa timings are different from other astrological programs like Jaganath hora. Guest guest
Dear Dr. Ashwin ji, Please understand that KAS Program has been designed using the Parameters that have been given to us by Guru ji. We are using 365.25 days per year. KAS Software is not a general software but it was created for KAS as no other software has the parameters that we use in total. No software, atleast none I know had Krushna’s Ayanamsa, nor in Vimshottari dasha the Sectors. In KAS we use only MD and AD and thereafter we divide AD into 3 sectors. Similarly this list is created by Guru ji and we here discuss KAS only and based on teachings of Guru ji. This is a specialized list if I may call it where we discuss KAS only and not a General List where everything is discussed and many systems. I think it will be clear and we all can be on the same page with clear understanding of why KAS program was created in the first place and what is the decorum to be followed on this list. Cheers !!!
