Check for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Dear Group Members,

In one of the discussion on the chart 13.10.1977, 02:58 am, Mumbai, 18.53.N, 72.50.E, Mr Ash said that this native is close to having Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

I immediately remembered a 66 year old person I know, who shows high tendencies of having OCD.

So I thought to put it on forum so that all of us can try to find out the common factors with the native 13.10.1977, 02:58 am, Mumbai, 18.53.N, 72.50.E as far as having OCD is concerned.

This native is male 13/04/1942. 12:50 Hrs, 28.N.47, 79.E.06, who I know, show signs of suffering from OCD.

Before I begin, I would like to write a few words on OCD for the benefit of everyone on in our group.

What is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)?

OCD is an anxiety disorder most commonly characterized by obsessive, distressing, repetitive thoughts and related compulsion. It is different from other type of routine stress or tension. It is more seen in people who tended to be perfectionist at a younger age. People, who have the tendency to peel the skin of a hair.

It is very frustrating for people who live with OCD affected persons. Such people want total attention of others and would do anything to attain it. It’s like a child who will break his toy in order to get the attention of people around him/her.

OCD is a problem that also causes affected persons to have unwanted thoughts and a behavioral pattern of repeating things again & again.

Like for example a grown up person making several round to his locked house just to ensure again & again that the lock has been put correctly.

Moving on to KAS we try to find out the similarities between the above two charts, in which the elder one sure is affected by OCD.

OCD is a mental state. It can be both on the ‘Aggression’ side as well as on the ‘Depression’ side (two extreme ends), I suppose.

So Moon should be the prime cause of it. The 4th house (mind) & 9th house (Mo is NK of 9th house) should also be in picture.

The 2nd house should also be connected to the OCD phenomenon as 2nd house deals with speech (is it for body language, actions also?) and relations.

In both charts the karak of 4th house (11th lord) is affected by Rahu.

In both charts the karak of 9th house (4th lord) is affected by Ketu.

In both charts Moon is a strong Significator planet for 4th house matters (high power planet).

In both charts the 2nd house is affected by Rahu.

In both charts the lord of 2nd house is affected by 6th lord. (in Navansh in younger chart).

In the younger chart we find that Mo is greatly affected by Rahu. Infact Rahu is in the Nks of Mo.

One important things is that;

The elder native has 5 sectors of Ma in D3, D9 & D30 charts (must be a rare occurrence).

He is said to show lot of aggression (mostly indoors) in which he tends to harm himself or his belongings.

His outdoor aggression is limited to taking impulsive hot tempered decisions which harms him or his spouse much more than others.

The younger native has more sectors(3) of Ve & only 2 of Mars.

Could this be leading to the two ends of the OCD nature? ? ?

I could not locate more factors for both complying with guideline of having OCD problem.

The elder native sure has OCD symptoms, which he displays also.

I have not met the younger native. So I really do not know practically about him.

The comparison of these two charts on OCD is a sort of Jigsaw puzzle where some pieces are to be searched and put in place to make the picture clear.

May be Mr Ash and the other experienced members guide us in it.

Does anyone has a chart of another person who displays properties of having OCD?

Regards,

Nikhlesh Mathur

Dear Nikhlesjh ji and list,

As i have little time to leave Guruji's place,so i am unable

to cast the chart.I sought Guruji guidance on OCD in detail.

OCD is related to medical astrology and here we discuss only

timing of event. No doubt, syptoms of OCD or other psychic problems

can be well observed in chart. For such things one has to look

into mental setup of a person in dreshkana, navamsa and trimsamsa.

More sectors of Moon or Saturn can play a major role for OCD.

Such person with more sectors of moon or Sat sometimes does

repeated things which are not in his/her mind control.Even more inteligence

can cause such behaviour like repetitive washing hands, feeling unsure

about any task which was already done few minutes back.
