Saturn’s Delay Delay due to Saturn in India where legal age to marry is 21 for male and 18 for female then for that full delay of Saturn will be 27.5 years i.e. 21 years + 7.5 years and for female it would be 18 + 7.5 years = 25.5 years on an average. What must be kept in mind is that if Saturn is causing delay then there IS DELAY. This delay will be based on the community, or country or culture. In North America, delayed marriage might be 32 and after but in India it might be 27.5 years. In some state, late marriage is ok, but in some other community by 20/21 might be considered delayed. Therefore before just doing any calculation, one must take time to understand the native and his or her background, the outlook and society influence. So in a chart where early marriage is 14/15 then delay might be 20/21 years. So this must be kept in mind and the laws applied. That said, with our laws, we are able to judge if there is delay or moderate delay or no delay and then the starting point we have to figure out from which we calculate the delay or judge based on the above. This has to be done with intelligence. Ju delay on top of Saturn’s delay If Jupiter causes delay and so does Saturn then Jupiter’s delay will enhance the delay caused by Saturn. If only Jupiter is causing delay then the delay will be moderate delay and not a full delay like Saturn. So if only Ju is causing delay the whatever moderate delay might be considered can be taken. Zeroes If zeroes are causing delay then as a ball park we are taking 10% for each zero and for 3 zeroes refer to lesson to judge if there is denial of marriage or extreme delay. Delay due to Status and problems due to psychology If Jupiter is causing delay, then it becomes tricky. In that case, one must figure out how much problems are there in the chart and those many hits we have to take i.e. on 7th house or 7th lord to check them. More the problems more the number of hits required and that translates into more delay in time scale. Delay due to WS If no strong planet antra comes after calculating delay, then that is due to the length of antra and can be judged easily from the Worksheet or the KAS net power. Cheers !!! I would request Ash ji to put all these 8 mails in a lesson format. Beginer can put these files in a separate folder on desktop to excercise on various charts if there is any delay for their convenience.
