Or stated differently, why nakshatra lordship follows this sequence. Me-Ke-Ve-Su-Mo-Ma-Ra-Ju-Sa? The only thing I could come up with is the fact that First five are inner planets and next four are outer planets. I am assuming Ke to fall under inner planets, and Ra under outer planets. The sequence of outer planets seems correct since that is in order of planets in solar system. The sequence of inner planets seems difficult to understand. Also, how did Ra and Ke find their placement in this sequence. Please let us know if there is a scientific reason for this as well just as there is a reason why each planet gets a specified number of years in Vim Dasha.
