I started my career in nursing caring for lung cancer patients in the EARLY 70's. To quit, I used a form of " self hypnosis---meditation " where I visualize JARS full of the thick stinking black slime that these tortured people were coughing up (it came in other colors to---sometimes I visualized that .... ). I got to the point where it was hard for me to imagine a cigarette in my mouth! I have not always been the " shining example of pure living " I am now (Yuk-Yuk!). I just got mad at this guy named Stephen who seemed to be hell bent on killing me! Finally, this guy seems to have become a good friend (he's rather hard headed too!). Love you, Lil Sis! As I was telling Stephen, Scott (brother) and I are both Aries so it is no wonder we often ram heads, lol. But the love and bonds are always there, of course, and we often pull apart only to come together again. Plus, these years have matured us both and we no longer see each other through the pains of the past. I fell off the smoking wagon on Saturday. You got me through! I remembered what you had said about not beating myself up over any setbacks so I just said, 'well, it happens. Tomorrow is a new smoke-free day.' So thank you for being there with me in spirit!!!
