Guest guest
Actually from my perspective and (IMHO), now that we all understand that abreviation. In Chinese 5 Element Theory the Colon's job and its own consciousness is ''letting go''. Not just the rubbish of food but also the rubbish of life. Even belief systems and old stuck emotions can release in this manner from the body.Hence in the experience of extreme fear we pee ourselves or have uncontrolable bowel /diahrea. I would say swallowing bandages and the like is a little out dated, especially for those who are anal retentive. And in any case pathlogically stuck anyway's. Ha Ha! Attitudes and beliefs demand huge amounts of energy to be maintained, justified etc........rigid mind ,rigid body..............and no-where has the same prevelance of Arthritis as North America . Saying some one is up tight is a phrase we use to describe people. Certain trends of ill health show in different countries/cultures according to belief's atitudes etc ...............it s no mistake that Catholics/Jews have much ''Guilt''in all the 4/5 bodies. The release of atitudes/beliefs/emotions,thro forgiveness actually physically increases, peristalsis or gurgling in the digestive tract. I'm sure there are many ways ...............God never gives one limited way,but this is one mechanism. As the most hard core ''stuff''we have is let go of thro ''non-involvement/non-attachment,it can go to the heart ........then is released from the body, naturally thro the colon and Shakti will guide this process. So the act of forgiveness and letting go ''Is flossing the Colon''..................so no need for the bandages/dish clothes/cotton wool or the like. Leave those in the first aid box. Its Love that counts and will complete this process......naturally and prudently. The more ''Love''/respect/forgiveness/gratitude(even for the tough patches in life) that we allow gives Shakti the possibility to work all the faster in us. That is getting rid of our bagagge and cleaning up the Chakra's,so we have a pure clean balanced opening of ''K''. So letting go means Shakti does not have to keep pushing up against ''our stuff''. As Chrism would say ............just my take on it. R......................................................... - loolooouk Tuesday, July 18, 2006 5:16 PM Re: Hatha Yoga question Haha! Guest guest
Hi Richard Ah ha :-) better not clean out the ears the same way. Guilt goes beyond Catholics and Jews and it takes a lot more than Hatha to remove it. Actually hatha will only remove the effect and only if you do it properly. Raja yoga or tantra will go about peeling the skin off the onion. Only the fire of mind will cinder its seed. Then you will become truly free. Wishing you all well John Mathieson 'Where there is joy, bliss, delight and pleasure of inexpressible variety, where all wishes are fulfilled, there make me immortal.' Guest guest
Oh thanks a lot Richard. Maybe I am a bit stuck. Probably I should just deal with things naturally > I would say swallowing bandages and the like is a little out dated, especially for those who are anal retentive. And in any case pathlogically stuck anyway's. Ha Ha! Did you mean me by the way? Maybe you are right. I didn't mean to be offensive by saying " Haha! " It was just that I found Chris' description of " flossing intestines " quite comical and it made me laugh. My 5 tibetans book came in the post today, so I will practice that and try to let go of my rubbish.
