Guest guest
Hi Deb, It's probably best to avoid literature concerned with astral self defense until you need it – if you ever do. This is because your subconscious is more likely to pick up on the dangers that might be out there rather than the defense techniques that are supposedly the subject of the book. If you go into OBE / AP worried that you might encounter negative forces then there is a very high likelihood that that is exactly the outcome that your consciousness will collapse. Once it happens you can then get into a feedback loop such that one experience propagates and reinforces the next. The fact that the lower astral has vibrations nearest out own plane makes it all the easier to focus into (re: ouija etc). The thing to hold onto is that you can't encounter anything that isn't at some level yourself. Mike <snip> I want to feel safe as much as anybody, but his methods of protection only seem to make the problem worse, by stimulating my imagination concerning " evil forces. " This tends to increase my fear. <snip>
