Guest guest
Dear Caroline My teacher would always say use the mind to jump the mind So does this mean there minds? No we can't be in two minds there is only one So what does he mean? I would discuss it with him to what should we do we would laugh and we would joke about playing leap frog and sorts of things. There is a personality and it belongs to the sleeping soul There is a character that belongs to only to the awakened living breathing fully self aware being. That is what he meant There is one mind and it pertains to 2 different aspects of the ego one of the personality, the other one of the character. Thus it comes down to discriminating what belongs to solely feeding the personality and what belongs to feeding the soul. There is only one thing I know does this only one it is known as karma yoga. It is brilliant and there is no need to do a lot of it once you understand the principle. But trying to understand the principal of it takes along time and once you do it leads directly to the principle of expressions which is bhakti Practice for karma yoga Work but put a monitoring program of emotional responses in the background, the idea is to become centered in what you are doing I know women are better at multitasking than men so each will have there own separate strategies, What happens with work is that it creates all sorts of emotions and thoughts to come up and it is when the distracting thoughts arise you can realise these to pertain to the lower ego. At such point you allow the monitoring program to become aware of the breath or the mantra or some other healing modality, then turn your mind back to the work at hand. Later on when you are about to go to sleep at night and you feel good of your achievements; capture the diamond moment and feel that you are about to go and do the real work on the astral plane. Wishing you all well John Mathieson 'Where there is joy, bliss, delight and pleasure of inexpressible variety, where all wishes are fulfilled, there make me immortal.' How does a person say NO to the ego and surrender? I am having such difficulty with this. The Hindu took the study of the Kundalini (thier word) very far. And it is quite difficult to find online or other written materials to describe some of the higher states. That is why I took the offering here. As far as the emotionalisms I find that the emotional response becomes more and more pure and free as the person becomes less stuck in the densities of accumulation and physical attachment. - just my take on it John always good to read you! - > > > > >
