Guest guest
Please begin with the skill and practice of forgiveness. Go back into your life and forgive all who have done harm to you as best you can remember at the time you do this. Don't worry about being exact let the most prominent ones arise and forgive them. Then forgive yourself for playing whatever part you played i.e. victim, antagonist, witness, whatever. Then move to the next issue, (person). I understand some of you have incorporated a forgiving attitude already but I would like you to do it this way. So for a time this should be the first area of practice for you. Write them down on paper, keep track of them and feel the release occur. This allows karmic chords to be healed and disengaged. So be passionate about this and really feel the forgiveness for both of you. - blessings - chrism
Guest guest
Chances are that this most basic practice of 'forgiveness' of oneself and others' for mis-qualified/mis-spent energy, doesn't need reinforcing - but then again for many I suspect, it may also not seem as profound (hence necessary) as some of the other more esoteric or 'secret' teachings. Soooo, I just thought I'd add my own hearty support of the profound value of conscientiously doing the 'forgiveness' sadhana. By way of explanation from personal recent experience, after undergoing a rather full 'suite' of progressive k-awakening about 20 months ago, I was fortunate to meet/make a new friend shortly thereafter who also had undergone a similar experience, albeit under different circumstances and with different sequencing. One of his 'gifts' was direct transmission to him from his angelic guides, of energy healing/chakra clearing/re-balancing - and very powerfully so. As an aside - we're talking about a guy here who one day went from beer-drinking/strip bar going military NCO to the next day a vibrating highly k-awake energy healer (or rather the Divine manifesting that ability through him). When he showed up at a kundalini yoga class to try and figure out was going on with him, folks there said he had more shakti glowing than anybody they'd ever seen. Anyway, before going through a clearing/healing with him, I very carefully did a recounting/recording of all the hurts imagined or real that I felt I had ever experienced (as mis-qualified energy) from others, and as well all that I had done. But I went further, and prayed deeply and earnestly and both forgave all others, and myself for any and all mis-spent energy exchanged either way, in all past lifetimes, some of which I had already had knowingnesses of (others since). When the healing session came round, it was like an exorcism, as my heart began to yield up the first of successive releases, initially painful (roaring and screaming), and later just sobbing. Not surprisingly to me, there was relatively little from this current life, as it has been in buddhist terms, an almost perfect human rebirth - mostly the release was past life stuff ... deeply held old sankharas, a lot of pain and suffering I had been on the receiving end of, as well as dispensed, but as much if not more so simply the pain and suffering of countless others that I had witnessed and that had been filtered through my heart. There continued on a number of occasions when I would be meditating with my friend, other spontaneous and powerful releases of this 'old stuff' from the heart chakra. The extent and intensity of this may vary for many people depending on the number of rebirths one has had in this plane of existence ... some are 'older' brothers and sisters than are others I. But the willingness to record/write down and witness to the Self these forgivenesses, and then to 'release' them (burn them in fire - drown them in water 'flush' , may be an important precursor to 'turning the earth' sufficiently to enable deep and healing/renewal of the heart. As this old stuff was moved out, it was my experience that the capacity of the heart to experience deepening compassion for all beings directly increased 1000 fold, while at sometimes inconveniently accompanied by tears and heart-wracked sobbing, and has immeasurably deepened my practice, and the acceleration of the flow of and 24/7 connectedness with the Divine with every in-breath. Forgiveness is a blessing. Metta. Alex chrism <> wrote: Please begin with the skill and practice of forgiveness.
