Guest guest
Hi Elektra, Can you please tell us some more on how to throw away reading glasses? My eye doctor keeps telling me that exercise doesn't help, but I am not sure I am buying that... Thanks, Sel , Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: > > Hi Deb, > I also know a good technique for eyes, rub your hands > together and then place them over your eyes for about > 1to2 minutes, it's called " cupping " and you could do > it after the tibetans, also imagine big energy fingers > extending from your real fingers and make movements > over the eye balls and imagine scraping out all the > tired energy from the eyes. > I went on a course on how to naturally heal the eyes > and throw away your glasses, in london, these are a > few of the techniques we were given. > I used to wear glasses to read , now I don't. > > Hope this is of some use to you, > > sure knew some great hints for you also, he's > amazing really x x x > > Just like you Debs, > > Inlove Elektra x x x > > > > _________ > The all-new Mail goes wherever you go - free your email address from your Internet provider. http://uk.docs./nowyoucan.html >
Guest guest
Hello Elektra/Sel, My wife is an optometrist/vision training 'coach' who teaches these techniques. They do work (as in people are able to decrease rather than increase the progression of powers of their lenses), but only with serious application. There is the palming/cupping as described, but also a number of other exercises like 'sunning' the eyes, facing the sun, eyes closes and slowly rotating the trunk so the sun's rays go across the face, back and forth. Certain disciplines also make a difference, in terms of constantly changing one's gaze so it is not 'fixed' any longer (as in staring at a computer all day), and renewing visual habits of the hunter/gatherer which we were 'designed' for. On a more k-related vein, I read last year that part of the k-awakening transition (as in full blown) may also change radically one's reliance on visual appliances. Dr. David R. Hawkins, whom I saw while attending one of his lectures in Sedona last August, wrote of this personal experience (e.g. throwing away his glasses after a lifetime of wearing them) in his book Power Vs. Force, along with other details of his own unfoldment of consciousness grace of the kundalini. Metta. Guest guest
I believe it can have much to do with blockages/armouring in the neck. Massage the neck, particularly where it joins the skull, and acupoints around the eyes, and roll the eyes. And take you glasses off! Breathe all the way in, and all the way out. Slowly. Muscle holding usually has associated emotion/memory of injury, that need to be released. I think the function of eyes is related to the navel centre, so nauli or situps or 5 tibetans ought to help. lots of love to everybody. , " selena230 " <selena230 wrote: > > Hi Elektra, > > Can you please tell us some more on how to throw away reading > glasses? Guest guest
Hi Sel and all others, I did a wonderful course in london with a norwegien doctor who came up with a method to heal the eyes. Depending on what you have wrong, you have to do sets of excercises and pranic healing. We were given a book with pictures and excercises to do, looking in to then distance and then looking at our finger very close to improve accomodation, yogic excercise to strengthen muscles looking up, side, down , side. Cupping. Sunning. There were many things to learn and I had to do the excercises every hour for weeks until my eyes were better. But my eyes were only mildly weak. Perhaps someone with more severe eye problems would take longer. I can't remember the doctors name but I can find it out if you are interested. Inlove Elektra x x x _________ Inbox full of spam? Guest guest
Hi Elektra and all, Thanks for the info. Yes, I'd love to have the name of that doctor. I live pretty far from London, but perhaps he has published a book on the topic. As to the K and vision: it seems that fixing my eyesight is not one of Her Highness' priorities. During meditation, I now have a (fuzzy) 360 degree vision with my eyes closed, but when I open my eyes I am still blind as a bat. The K seems to be working on my brain as a vision organ rather my physical eyes.
