Guest guest
hey I want to say a big hug and welcome to Robin, Robina (Rubina) and James....you will need to set aside the reiki while you are actively seeking K. Please follow Chris' suggestions to stay safe. That is of the utmost imporatance. I cannot stress that enough....follow the breathing, 5 tibetans, the motion cleansing mediation which is active, sun salutation, etc. Chris has forged ahead for us and is helping us avoid the common pitfalls. Oh and one more thing...as the siddhas appear to you they can be a glamour that keeps you from forging ahead. So take note that you are progressing, but please do not get caught there. You are just passing though. I will be on vacation from this evening through Saturday and will not be posting as I am not taking my computer. actual r & r for me and not just one day. See you all when I return. Love to all of you--Andrea "con infinito amore e luce" - with endless love & light :x Andrea
Guest guest
Why would I need to give up my Reiki practice to recieve Shaktipat? I can't see it interfering. I'm still not so sure whats required of me to recieve Shaktipat? I have been following my own meditation practices, faithfully. Its been a long way from square one. Is it really required of me to start up a basket of new meditations? , Andrea Fetsko <akf7777 wrote: > > hey I want to say a big hug and welcome to Robin, Robina (Rubina) and James....you will need to set aside the reiki while you are actively seeking K. Guest guest
This is unlike anything you will ever feel or begin to understand inside a conscious state of being. There is no judgment on how " far along " the path you are. It isn't about what you already know or do. Its about what you don't know and are " perhaps " about to do. The protocols are different for everyone and if it is to deep a sacrifice then perhaps it isn't for you. I have had most unfortunate experiences with people receiving Shaktipat without doing the protocols. This is not cotton candy Kundalini. It can bite, and Hard! And I do not wish that to happen to you my friend. So please as it is only costing you your time and exposure to something new and different, do these things, or not, it is your choice. Please remember that I have the Shaktipat geared towards your passionate participation if you do it then it will do, you if you don't then it wont.- asmallpanda <asmallpanda wrote: Why would I need to give up my Reiki practice to recieve Shaktipat? Guest guest
I remember a safety lise for a Ngurah who was practicing Reiki and there was nothing in there about giving up Reiki, she was told to continue healing I know little about Reiki but I was wondering about the advice considering what I had read before hand. - asmallpanda Monday, August 21, 2006 9:01 PM Re: Wow I see a few new persons I know well Why would I need to give up my Reiki practice to recieve Shaktipat? Guest guest
Everyone is different and at different levels of potential with what they bring to Kundalini activation. Karma , emotional balance, What they have done in this life to prepare themselves. Its not a cookie cutter replication. Yes Ngurah is a reiki practitioner as far as I know and did receive the safeties and hasn't received a scatterfield or a Shaktipat, at least not from me. The list itself does give a person some Shakti though. Another scenario is the individual aspect of the persons activation. Some folks like you SJ do not fall into the same category. Not greater or lesser just different. If you were a Reiki person I wouldn't tell you to stop because as you have activated already this would be part of the path you have taken for your own awakening. Andrea and Sarceto are like this as well. I am somewhat concerned about the seventh chakra opening before the lower ones as a burning of that area can result if a spinal sweep is stimulated. So I ask that people don't practice it while they are in this process. I wrote nothing and suggested nothing about permanently discontinuing reiki. Neither did Andrea( by the way who is practicing reiki). So please consider that I am not concerned about being seen as administering in a fair way for all. I will lean towards a safe way for that individual every time. Fair or not. We are all unique. And if I ask a certain thing it isn't that you MUST do it. You have choice. You are free to do as you wish as am I. There those on this list who practice reiki no matter that I ask them not to. So there it is. They don't activate from my shaktipat but it doesn't mean they wont. Shaktipat is only one way of opening to this energy. The practice offers more than just one way, there at least three. -
Guest guest
I understand, thanks for the clarification. I was worried. I have had too many good experiences with Reiki to just give it up. This might be straight forward, but what would you suggest to start preparing? I read the safties, so thats in my mind. Lower chakra stregthening maybe? -James (I'll start signing my posts now.) , chrism <> wrote: > > Everyone is different and at different levels of potential with what they bring to Kundalini activation. Guest guest
Start doing the practice. The forgiving, the gratitudes, the Tibetans, and meditations Daily and in that order. This is clearing the channels. - blessings James - chrism
