Well, I've lived most of my life in Kew Gardens,

but now I'm in Brighton, at Sussex University,

studying Environmental Biology.

So you are in Chengdu? Eating nothing?

Did you go to see the pandas? I was there last year.

You said you felt a connection to Tibet. Me too.

Are you gonna go there? I went to Yunnan, and got into

the mountains maybe 85km from the border. It was a Tibetan

peoples area (kagyupa) and I saw some monasteries and tibetans.

I went to Zhongdian and Dequin and MeiLiShan glacier, which

was rad... Actually I got some good photos we could put up

on this site of mountains and prayer flags and stuff.

I actually wanted to go to Tibet this Summer, but stayed here

to do uni work (am i nuts?!). My mate Jason has been emailing

me from India and Nepal, and I SOOOOOO wish I was with him.

Its the pull of Asia... I feel it so much. Ok, so you have

to enjoy it for me, because I'm not there, so make sure you

have a good time ok.
