Guest guest
This section of the chin lock is confusing for me. Which way does the head go? Back or forward? And also the placement of the forehead.. Thanks for helping me out on this, wish there was a picture to help me out. 1. Lengthen the back of your neck straight up-and-down, a.k.a. perpendicular to the ground. You may want to massage the muscles along the back of your neck from bottom to top, which feels good and helps extend your neck. 2. Now, tip your chin in toward your throat, while lifting the crown of your head slightly taller and maintaining the straight up-and-down position of your neck. Guest guest
Hi Lisa, This looks like the jalandhara bandha description. If so, all you have to do is to first stretch through your crown by keeping the head vertical, then lower your chin towards your chest by retaining the extension of the neck (basically, the point of extending your neck is to prevent squashing it and slouching in jalandhara). Hope this helps, Sel , lisa dermenof <lisadermenof wrote: > > This section of the chin lock is confusing for me. Which way does the > head go? Back or forward?
