Guest guest
Hello fellow travellers, I was wondering if anyone has any helpful points on the tummo (inner heat). Basically I had completely forgotten about its existence, and I was just focusing on bringing the K up from my sacrum, but I was strolling along last night, being mindful of the ocean of intelligent energy around me, which I call the dharmakaya or god (dunno if thats the original meaning of dharmakaya! I use it for the universe as a vibratory ocean of intelligent energy... This concept REALLY seems to click with me! I can really feel its presence and I am overwhelmed with love for it) Anyway I was being mindful of the winds in my body and also this ocean of energy, and the possibilities of our existence, and I felt that I wanted to become a Buddha, a real one, not what I have read in books, and that this was possible and that it would be the highest good, and at this point I suddenly felt the winds absorb at the point just in front of the spine at the level of the navel and I felt heat there, it was hot, but not intrusive, it felt just right! I could feel this heat purging the channels throughout the body, and I knew this was tummo, the inner fire, the first yoga of Naropa, as I have read about in Lama Yeshe's book " the bliss of inner fire " I am gonna work to develop this, I think I can remember this heat active in me before when I was hospitalised. Does anyone have any guiding wisdom on this matter? I woke up this morning to the most intensely beautiful girl. I feel like God is slapping me in the face and saying " I love you fool! " Peace n love - James.x
Guest guest
James, A month or so ago, I was experiencing intense spells of heat. The heat was indeed uncomfortable, and it was this symptom that got me introduced to the whole process of Kundalini. A woman I know who has awakened K has insisted that I use a lot of lavender--bath salts, incense or burning oils, body spray, soap, etc. Sometimes this seemed to work, sometimes not. has told me in an email that if you hold closed your right nostril and breathe through your left one, then this reduces the heat as well. These days, the symptoms that I have experienced--heat, chest pains, twitches, visions of deity, and even the inner peace has seemed to abate a bit. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not.... In your case, it seems that the heat is not too uncomfortable though. So maybe this is a good thing? Blessings, Ana--a complete novice, lol. Guest guest
Hey Ana, This heat felt absolutely excellent and perfect. It is true there are various inner heats, and some of them are burning karma, but my intuition tells me this particular heat is different. It felt so cleansing,,, best analogy is the cleansing heat of a sauna, but cominf from inside. I meditated this afternoon but it hasn't come back I will just have to be patient. It happened when I was really focused on being in one place at one time and with a very pure intention of reaching higher consciousness. I think Milarepa did the tummo (candali) meditation a lot. I feel really drawn to this experience, as if it is something wonderful. Guest guest
Breathe into the Dan tien but do not allow for semen releases. Keep those inside and allow for the GFA. Become obsessed with love and forgiveness. -blessings - chrism
