Guest guest
Deb and Lisa, your concerns about thoughts leading to events almost as an event of Karma, I think, are unwarranted ........ All my life I've been a red hot conductor for instant Karma delivery. After any action, on my part, of selfishness or malice, will come some unrelated misfortune. Conversely, immediately after any act of service (provided it's spontaneous, NOT pre-meditated) - I seem to be winning raffles, getting unprecedented strings of green lights or receiving a heaven-sent solution for a long-standing problem. Not good luck, serendipity, good astrology, favourable biorhythms or anything that remotely relates to my action. I've had a strong feel for this for decades and as I was a statistician, I'm reasonably good at being sceptical when it comes to the overstating of links and the mismatching of probabilities. What I'm leading to is that it has NEVER been THOUGHTS but always ACTIONS which have triggered the Karmic aftermaths. So on my experience, the link between your thoughts and the unfortunate events that followed is NON-EXISTENT. In point of fact, the post- event nurturing you gave would have been wonderful therapy and comfort for the folk suffering the tragedy. Well done !! Belated welcomes to Bella, Palani, Kousik, Katherine, Alex, Ruari, Shiva, Jessie, Keshav, Robin, Eko and Omar. Your contributions have been very interesting, enriching and thought-provoking. Oh, I almost forgot - Katherine, that's a lovely photo !! John R.
Guest guest
Thank you for the welcome John. Would the spoken word be considered an action? Sometimes just stating an intention or desire has brought about manifestation. (not as often as I would like tho) blessings, Robin - Monday, September 18, 2006 3:02 AM Re: K-Addictions - Deb and Lisa D.
