Ruari,

I feel EXACTLY as you do! It is a habit of mine that I speak, nod or smile to

those I pass. It helps maintain a positive outlook on both sides I believe.

And yes, when people don't look up, or don't respond, it does make me sad for a

moment, and I wonder why people don't take the opportunity to connect with each

other, even if only for an instant!

Love to you,

Ray

Hi Guys,

I always try to smile and acknowledge people here in

china, I think that some people are too shy or lacking

in confidence to even smile at a stranger.

It takes a certain amount of " oumph " to smile at a

stranger.

Don't feel sad for people, feel happy, even if they

don't respond feel happy for them , they are god also,

doesn't matter how they choose to express it right

now.

Just some thoughts,

Love Elektra x x x

Hello Everyone, I too always try to smile and nod my head as I pass people. It makes me feel good and glow inside and I get the same feeling from the recipient of my smile and nod. There are those who don't reciprocate the nod and it used to bother me, but then I would tell myself that they are probably not having a good day and even though they didn't respond in a nice manner I know it touched them. Sometimes it is a delayed reaction, others I am not sure what is up with them, but I don't let it bother me. I nod and smile even if they aren't looking because there might be a chance they will look my way as I am smiling and nodding and it just might make their day. I love all of you! Have a Blessed and wonderful day...KatherineElektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: Hi Guys,I always try to smile and acknowledge people here inchina, I think that some people are too shy or lackingin confidence to even smile at a stranger. It takes a certain amount of "oumph" to smile at astranger.Don't feel sad for people, feel happy, even if theydon't respond feel happy for them , they are god also, doesn't matter how they choose to express it rightnow.Just some thoughts,Love Elektra x x x--- raazor (AT) adelphia (DOT) net wrote:> Ruari,> I feel EXACTLY as you do!
