Guest guest
Hello guys, I just thought I would pass a few things by you to see what you thought. Lately I have been very sensitive to sound, any sound. Everything sounds so loud to me and despite my adjusting the volume or asking someone else to adjust the volume it still doesn't seem to make a difference. I seem to only be able to tolerate sound for a short while, put seem to prefer total quietness now. Tonight on the way home from the store I was talking to my son and I sounded like I was in a tunnel or a drum or something metal, almost as if I were sticking my head in and out of it. My ears feel really plugged, pressurized, my left one especially. My eyes are more sensitive as well. I see bright white spots like sun spots periodically inside and outside, they more or less come and go. I am picking up on others auras and ethereal bodies, mine included, without actually even trying. Not all of the auric layers like my husband last night I saw green, blue and yellow. When I looked in the mirror I almost immediately saw my ethereal body, of course I still can't help but want to look directly at it when I see it, but what can I say other than it is new to me. When I meditate sometimes my right eyelid feels like there is a thickness that isn't usually there, or maybe it is my eyeball, I am not sure, I can't really tell. My appetite has lessoned, I feel sort of hungry but when I eat a couple of bites I am full. I feel so calm about everything, so happy, so peaceful and yesterday a friend of mine called who has been going through a divorce and she has such a negative attitude and it didn't even bother my mood. I didn't absorb her negativity and she didn't drain me either. My shoulders will have a burning crawling sensation in them, this coming from the middle of my back. Sometimes it is in the middle of my back around the heart chakra (maybe in between my heart and sacral). I am also suffering through some severe hot flashes, I do the breathing and it helps! Is it the K, or menopause? I am too young for the second half I think, or is it my kids whom I adore! I will sometimes go from burning hot to almost frigid cold in a matter of seconds. I don't know if I am trying to get sick or what! I feel fine, I really do! Just these little things are extremely noticeable. I don't feel like I am getting sick. Oh well, just thought I would pass on these things to get some feedback, because I know that all but one of the changes can be signs of a sickness. Guest guest
Thank you Chrism, I will take you up on the walk on the beach! I feel so at peace, but yet strange. I can feel my closeness with God growing stronger. The funny thing is I always thought I was close to Him never realizing how far I actually was. It is bewildering how your upbringing can stear your thoughts, beliefs, and actions as an adult. I think I worked so hard not to be like my mom and dad (their troubled sides) that I lost focus on me, my needs, my desires, my path, my destination. Anyway, thank you! Oh, I have read several different methods of meditation and some say close the eyes completely, some say you can keep your eyes opened, and some say close your eyes to the point of where you have about a 1/10 slit. What are your takes on meditation? Love, Katherine chrism <> wrote: Hello Katherine, Enjoy and explore. Walk on the beach and feel yourself blending. Listen tom the music of silence. Guest guest
I will address merely some physical symptoms. I do not claim any further authority for this advice than to say it worked for me in what I believe to be common experiences. I'm not trying to contradict chrism's advice (ride it out), just perhaps to give some relief - I hope he doesn't mind. , " Katherine " <katsam19 wrote: > My eyes are more sensitive as well. Is it the K, or menopause? well it's not magic for sure, it's your nervous system in fact, which is regulated by the breath, so it's quite natural that breathing exercises will affect what you're feeling, it's influencing the nerves. unfortanately only a neurophysiologist could give you the whole story from a scientific point of view. > I will sometimes go from burning hot to almost frigid cold in > a matter of seconds. do the breathing exercise above in short cycles with alternate nostrils, but this time with retention (khumbaka) for short periods of time (perhaps 4 seconds), work up to longer counts as it is comfortable and the lower interval becomes nearly effortless. you want to strengthen and accustom the nervous system to dealing with increased energy (I mean literal, bioelectrical, energy) without it overloading and this is one way. just be careful and don't rush into anything or overdo it, you are playing with delicate systems of the body. also you might want better sources on these methods than merely my hastily-typed and short instructions. everything I've described is harmless but that's not always the case with this stuff. yogis were generally in good shape for a reason, conditions like high blood pressure, being obese, having improper breathing, etc can make all of it dangerous unless causing fainting, headaches, lightheadedness, early death or nervous system trauma is the goal. good luck, -brian
