Guest guest
This is healthy introspection James and well worth the time you take to do it. Change is always occurring and as you practice you will experience the highs and lows so see them for what they are - opportunities. Self examination and re-connection will allow you to open to the new energies coming forth. Yes the world as a society is beginning to shift, from one place to another and your goals and aspirations do count and do make a difference. Especially as you are coming from the Kundalini experience you have an affect on a wide area. Oil, gas, coal, solar, bio- based fuels are readily available, it is just a shifting of population priorities that will sway and direct the future five sense physicality's. For a K person some of these realities do not have an attachment for concern. Legs and feet, haul the water, chop the wood. Do the work that you are pulled to do and love the what that you do. Feel the interconnections of everything and if you cannot, no worries feel what is there for you to feel. Be at peace and open to more. - blessings James - chrism
Guest guest
Yes you're right. I'm sure there's a wonderful world around the corner. Often I get attached to the masses' projections of the future and I forget that actually nothing is set in stone. I get easily affected by films and propaganda sometimes and I'm sure I needn't make myself suffer so much. One thing about that film about oil and war and panic that my friend pointed out was that there were no women speakers. Perhaps that reflects whose priorities they really were. Its easy for me to forget, because ostensibly I have never been " wanting " for food or shelter (although at a price of anxiety and work), that poverty and famine and so forth have always existed, and that in fact the oil age made it worse for so many - it just changed the distribution across nations. I suppose the film made me conscious of my faiths and attachments. I will try to find peace, I have been irrationally angry this morning, maybe cos my flatmate woke me up in the middle of the night with a guitar. Sleep is always an issue for me, I think I mentioned it before but a few years back, before I was deemed insane, I reached the stage of yogic sleep, where I basically could lie on my back in samadhi and pass through all the stages of sleep; shallow, deep and REM, consciously without dreaming. This is what I suppose I dream of being able to return to, my subsequent traumas and injury means I'm not at peace enough to reach that state... But actually if I meditated enough I could probably do it. Half of the problem I have with sleep is that I always start trying to go into yogic sleep at the beginning of the night, persist in trying to enter for a couple of hours (sometimes less, sometimes the whole night!), then eventually have to accept that my mind is too scattered or my body too blocked to reach this state, turn over and have a normal sleep, which never satisfies. I remember the first time I reached this yogic sleep, I woke up and felt like a new man; i had so much energy, I felt emotionally balanced; it was fantastic! I felt I had made some amazing new discovery about the nature of life and that things would never be the same again; I was right of course! Blessings and happiness - James. , chrism <> wrote: > > This is healthy introspection James and well worth the time you take to do it. Guest guest
Hi James, I was thinking about the selfless service, you can easily do this by sending out prayers for the earth, enviroment, humanity, the animals etc. Noticing a fellow student at uni who may need a blessing and silently give it. Offering your practice as a gift to all life. These are all selfless acts if you ask nothing in return. I'm sure you already do these things anyway, but just felt I would mention it. Much love to you , and always a pleasure to read you. I think you are very special and I enjoy your energy very much, smile* Elektra x x x _________ To help you stay safe and secure online, we've developed the all new Security Centre. http://uk.security.
