Guest guest
Hello, my name is Carrie. Thank you for inviting me to the group and for all the help and guidance you have given me so far. I am a 23 years old and have a 12-month-old daughter (12 months on the 31st!). I live in a small community in East Texas. I reside in what is known as the " Bible Belt " . Therefore spiritual information is very limited unless you attend a Baptist Church Revival. I moved to Houston Texas 5 years ago and was overwhelmed with different kinds of spiritual information. I have since found my spiritual haven in new age philosophy and practices. Since moving back to East Texas my spiritual desires have taken a greater hold of me. I have found myself plagued with visions when in a state of bliss and unconditional love. The most repetitious vision is one in where my husband and I are rocks glowing with all the colors of the rainbow. Pulsating if you will. Many other rocks that are cold surround us. Our light spreads to the others. I feel as though the Kundalini activation will indeed help and guide me to spread love and light through out my community and the rest of the world. Guest guest
pleased to meet you - not to be self-promoting, but it happens that I wrote a couple of posts directly related to notions of Kundalini from a Christian perspective. I was born and raised Missouri Synod Lutheran in the upper midwest and remember having similar experiences as well as grave difficulty in reconciling what I was experiencing on a then-daily basis within a religious context, without having to abandon the Christian tradition altogether. although I became something of a prodigal son and dabbled in new age and psychism, I eventually found myself returning to religiosity with a newfound respect and understanding, after years of struggle and untold amounts of reading. I won't pretend to have answers but it may help you to know that others are out there. take care, -brian , " hwrd_crr " <hwrd_crr wrote: > > > Hello, my name is Carrie. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing Brian. It does help to know that others like myself are out there. I definately respect Christianity more now than I did growing up, years ago, in my comunity. I remember going to church at a really young age hearing about brimstone and hell fire! I found church a bit intimidating really. But now that I have experienced my own spiritual awakening I have a greater understanding of the whole Christian concept. I've studied many different religions. I have found that most all of them are related in their core beliefs. I find peace in that. Guest guest
Hello and welcome. My name is Sherri and I lived in Ft. Worth for 7 years so I know what it is like in Texas. (But I DID love it there) If I can be of any help to you I would be honored. Where, exactly, do you live. I was often in Maxia going to sweat lodges with the Lakota and know a wonderful man there.
