All practice in cultivating the Kundalini is an act of courtship to

her. She is approached as one approaches a lover. One never has a

lover but only shares with her. Shakti is alive and her attentions

towards the lover that courts her come as she sees fit. She never

forgets the one who courts her but her responses are her own and not

due to the desires of the wooer. But when she reveals herself in full

the wooer is taken completely and surrender is lost to reverence and

awe.

But don't forget that in her envelopment of her lover she is desiring

to dissolve the lover, to destroy the lover. In her embrace she is

tearing the lover apart into the smallest of bits. And as the wooer

gives his or her heart more fully the more she can rip it apart.

But also don't forget this lover's contract is a suicide pact. It is

the lover's duty to also make the bold effort to kill the dearly held

beloved. Her command to reverence and awe is also her exposing her

soft breast to the point of the lover's blade who must take this

invitation and plunge the blade in. The lover, fully in the grip of

the beloved's embrace, defies her command and surrenders to the duty

of shredding the beloved who holds him so dearly.

So the lover must rip at the beloved just as she rips at the one who

woos her. And when a discovery is made that the lover and the beloved

were never but a union there will also be a knowledge that this

revelation has come because of a the bold willingness to kill and be

killed and to love and be loved.
