painting Quan Yin...

Hi,

 

I have been in the process of putting my home back together for the

last 6 months due to a fire set by foster kids and took the

opportunity of the fire to also redo my life in a diffent way.

 

Today I finished the small amount of painting that was left on the

outside and sort of declared the project complete. In the front

porch area there had been burn marks from other foster kids putting

their cigerettes out on the wall and I was very happy to have that

area painted over and I have a 3 foot high or so cement statue of

Quan Yin (godess of love and compassion in the Chinese culture) in

that same area. I had not noticed but she had cigerette burns on

her back as well. (I obviously had been taking some pretty rough

kids)

 

I gently painted her with a fresh coat of white today and saw the

white paint as being radient white energy and experienced a deep

peace. The peace turned to sadness and great compassion as I

painted

and I felt I was sending out healing to all women who had been

beaten and burned as I painted her back, to all women who had been

sexually abused as I painted her bottom (many of the children I have

had here have had both those experiences) and so it went with a

strong sensation and flare of light in each of my chakras as I

continued to paint.

 

When I got to her face, the paint was dripping a bit and it looked

as if she was weeping for all the world. By then I was weeping too

(glad the mailman did not choose that exact time to come) and the

experience of reverently painting her was one I will long remember.
