Guest guest
Hi, Responding mostly to Elektra's fantasy of swimming with whales: "I love the whales, what a fantasy of mine to swim withwhales and not be afraid of the deep , deep ocean.Such an initiation into the wild, nature" ... I thought I'd recount a memorable experience I had about 15 years ago while swimming in the pacific ocean off Coronado Muni Beach near San Diego ... I was out quite far body surfing ... when about only forty or fifty feet further out from me a large dorsal fin broke the water moving in a parallel line to the beachfront, which was far behind me. With heart pounding I felt a great sense of relief as I saw the motion was a gentle up and down (e.g. not a shark and then in succession 5 or 6 others each surfaced and followed slowly in a line ... beyond them a huge swell of the ocean had built up, perhaps a 10-15 foot swell into which, 'as one' all of the dolphin pod turned, and for a brief moment I had this incredible image presented of each of them in perfect line coming towards me, suspended and silhouetted in the transparent sun dappled cascading wave, whereafter they stayed submerged and I did not see them again, and swam back elatedly to shore. Just thought I'd share that. Metta. Alex Access over 1 million songs - Music Unlimited.
