Guest guest
I'm not sure if this has anything to do with K, but the memories from it keep coming up. Different scenarios in my life spark a memory from this experience I had as a little girl. Please let me know if you have ever heard of this type of session at a Catholic school, I would appreciate feedback. When I was about 10 years old, I attended a Catholic School in San Diego. One day, and only one time. I and a handful of students (9?) were escorted to an empty unused classroom. I noticed the chairs still up on the desks, and the shades were drawn. The teacher was male in his late 20s. He asked us to lay ourselves where we wanted to on the ground with our backs against the ground. I thought this was quite odd as our classes were proceeding without us. But I didn't care since I was missing class! He explained that we were going to practice how to calm our body's and minds. He went through the process of talking calmly and guiding us to calm every inch of our body, went through mental imaging and pretended we were riding a rainbow, and going over clouds. I don't remember much else, but after we were done. We got up and were asked to go back to class. It never happened again, and to this day I want to know what and why it happened. I think its wonderful if they were trying to incorporate meditation into our lives, but Catholics and meditation at a elementary school? Then I thought what if it was a type of hypnotism? It was indeed the one time. Why were we selected? Okay, it's out there. Maybe one day this will make sense. Thanks for listening. blessings lisa
Guest guest
Doesn't sound Catholic to me. The teacher was probably just experimenting and having a good time. If the school administration had found out, the guy would have lost his job. Sel
Guest guest
dear lisa.. would you perhaps consider getting professional hypnosis to better recall the situation? -steve f
Guest guest
Fundalmentalist (like Southern Baptist I was surrounded by) have the same negative mindset. Lisa--He was introducing you to Eastern Meditation. We had an English & art teacher introduce us to psychokineses. She could have been fired too! In our experiment she had us all focus on one letter on a display on a glass door. The letter fell off in seconds, one girl nearly fainted, some screamed. They had been brainwashed to believe that all of this was " The Dayyy-Veels Work! " . Maybe someday all schools will have teachers like yours and mine to help us evolve! Until then...>sigh<... :) Stephen AKA Master Condrey - " selena230 " <selena230 Saturday, November 18, 2006 10:15 PM Re: Catholic School Session > Doesn't sound Catholic to me. Guest guest
The school knew about it, as my teacher released me and some others from class to go. I am seeing another male figure outside with us, I think it was the pricipal. He was smiling. It's wonderful to remember this. It was also warm outside as we walked across the small court to the classroom. so, yes, the school knew. Hmm.... ---- selena230 <selena230 wrote: > Doesn't sound Catholic to me. Guest guest
I would love hypnosis. But where and $$$. lol Actually, I will contact my friend who knows of one in the area. There are a few events in my life I would love to 'open' up. Thanks for suggesting this. lisa ---- " deepdance1 " <deepdance1 wrote: > dear lisa.. would you perhaps consider getting professional hypnosis to better recall the > situation? > -steve f >
Guest guest
How fun, hehehe Okay, I'll be trying this soon. Group effort to make something fall off, excellent concept. Yes, this world would be a better place if we can incorporate this needed knowledge in our schools. thanks Stephen. lisa ---- stephen condrey <stephencondrey wrote: > Fundalmentalist (like Southern Baptist I was surrounded by) have the same > negative mindset. > > Lisa--He was introducing you to Eastern Meditation. > > We had an English & art teacher introduce us to psychokineses.
