cool, nice position to be in if you want to make a career of it. I've

been writing for years but not really with commercial interest. a few

pieces for very smalltime games back in the day, a local college's

recruiting video producer asked to use a cutting, and some friends

spread it to various places they ended up - that's about it though, so

much for fame eh :-)

I used trackers from the early teens onward, got a bit into sampling,

then Buzz for the past several years, a bit with softsynths etc. But

I decided it's time to invest in some " real " hardware and see what

happens.

likewise. did at least an album's worth of material in Buzz a few

years back but I never did more than copyright it, that and on a whim

wrote to Simon Posford and got a nice response and an invitation to

send a demo to him personally - but I never heard a word again for

whatever reason, not even " hey brian, got your cd, bloke, it needs

work. best, simon " . anyway, I'd be happy to send some tracks if you

want to check it out, email me off-list with the necessary details and

I'll get something sent your way sometime before Christmas :-)

 

unfortunately though, this thread is WAY off topic for the list, so

let's pick this up via private email and spare the readers!
