Guest guest
Hi Mohammed, I suppose you've seen my posts to various groups over the years about the energy rising up from my feet. It appears your friend is having a similar experience. I haven't found the answers fully but from what I've learnt so far it appears to be an activation of all of the points that are used in Reflexology. This means that there is an immense healing taking place as it is all the organs of the body...and more, which Reflexology treats. I also learnt from another woman that the Kundalini can open and operate differently in women than from men. This is where I've had the problem of finding information to help me because all the Guru's and teachers, books and websites are mainly taught by men...very difficult finding instructions relating to women and their particular uniqness and the Kundalini experience. Many of the ancient scripts say that women are already 'there' so they lean more to teaching men and addressing their particular dispositions. As for rolling over in bed - this happens to me also. I found out it was my guide and other beings from the higher dimensions 'working' on me while I was asleep to help facilitate the healings and other requirements that I needed. It will happen quite often and I just 'go with the flow' and trust it's in the very capable hands of higher beings. I also found that the Tibeten teachings instruct us to sleep on our right hand side with the right hand tucked under the face (or close to the face) and our left arm straight - down the body with the palm resting on the hip/thigh..depending where it rests naturally. I don't force anything...I just let it happen naturally and lately I have found I sleep in this way....except I lie on my left hand side. This may have to do with earth energy and different hemisphere's which I'm learning about. There seems to be a difference between Northern and Southern hemispheres and which direction we sleep in...Vastu is helping me here. Over the years I lie mostly on my sides. Rarely I wake up on my back and when that happens I've found very intense chakra work has been happening and also I've had OBE's. I'd also like to know if she meditate's sitting with her feet on the ground...or in a yogic position - legs folded etc. I always meditated sitting with feet on the ground so I'm presuming this is what started the energy through the feet. Please pass this information on to her and I hope it is of some help....mainly just 'go' with what's happening as it's a healing. The most important thing she has to remember when finishing yoga or meditating is to close off and ground herself. Detach from the experience and then do some sort of activity, such as going to work, doing the dishes...basically getting on with her daily 'earthly' existance. This helps keep everything under control. I didn't do this properly and suffered in many ways...I learnt the hard way And also please ask her to keep in touch as I'm interested in her progress, especially because of her feet/female experience. It's the first time I've found someone having a similar experience to me and it'll be good to compare notes love Amaargi --- Mohammed <mobeat23ae wrote: > > Dear Group Members...a friend of mine who does yoga > and family > constellations has recently been having an > experience she described in > more detail below. Guest guest
Hi Anne Good to see you up and better According to the Siva Swarodaya A couple of quotes from memory as I have not had the book in years Sleeping on you left activates the pingala nadi it aids in sleep because it is associated to left brain activity therefore of physical functions. It also helps the body to keep warm and is beneficial in those aspects for asthmatics. Also elsewhere in the sivaswarodaya The practitioner of yoga who has his left side nostril flow during the day and the right side at night is about to have an awakening. In most healthy people the change in the nostrils occur on an average every hour and it begins at sunup and is in accordance of the phase of the moon that determines the flow and alternates on every third lunar day. I also have OBE when I sleep on my back particularly with out a pillow, though doing this I do not have deep sleep as the mind is just to active as it primarily the left or ida nadi flowing. I dare say I astral every night but I do not remember. The end of the day my body and soul needs rest, I sleep on my right and when my head hits the pillow, I die within seconds. The only time I tend to try and sleep on my right is in summer on a hot night and takes me awhile to go to sleep in any case. Sleeping on the left is also supposed to be beneficial for resting the heart muscle because of the way it is layer out in the chest. My mother told me that. :-) So now I would like to know why in the Tibetan text, as to why to any reasoning there may be in sleeping on the right side. Or if there is a reason given.
