Guest guest
Greetings Richard, Everyone, > I came to the conclusion the serpent was associated with Binah > (Qabbalah). Anybody confirm this? It's really rather important. Here is some information you may be interested in reading: To Embrace Hebrew Roots: Part VI Kabbalah Initiation " brief review of the Sefirots and Tiferot is found on the web site " The Ten Sefirot of the Kabbalah. 36. The ten sefirot or emanations are interrelated, generally one sefirot linking to the next. There is of course, much more to the Talmudic and Kaballastic teachings of the Ten Sefirot. Part of the concept of the sefiroth and the ascent through the gates or ladders of wisdom refers to the Kabbalistic Tree of Life that matches the Sufi mystic teachings. Due to space the following list does not encompass all the sefirot and relationships, but presents comparisons between certain of the Kabbalistic sefirot and the Kundalini chakras on the Tree of Life. The parallels with Kundalini come from A Kabbalistic View of the Chakras by Rebekah Kenton who explains the chakras in terms of Jacob's ladder... Guest guest
hi, as someone who's worked with and studied the possible relations between the qabalah of the western tradition and the kundalini quite extensively, I just want to caution against accepting any of the many available attempts at correspondence, at face value. they seem natural and I believe are in fact quite complementary, but much like attempts to correspond color and tone, seem to be quite seperate YET interrelated systems. I'm especially skeptical of 'easy' or 'intuitive' correspondences between these. in my own view the attributions don't have good correspondences and every attempt I've seen has taken what I'd politely call " artistic liberties " with the arrangements. Heck, Violet May Firth and Aleister Crowley, both very gifted and advanced students of esotericism as well as exceptional intellects, give quite different correspondences and they originated from the same GD current and lived in the same time period! you find a lot of things that " kind of fit " ... so too in the right circumstances an engineer can treat a human being as a sphere, it makes the physics much easier. this doesn't mean our engineer thinks the human IS a sphere however. -brian > The parallels with Kundalini come from A Kabbalistic View of the > Chakras by Rebekah Kenton who explains the chakras in terms of > Jacob's ladder...
