Guest guest
While meditating Sunday I was attempting an OBE. It didn't happen - but soooo many other sensations did. I'm pretty sure that I saw through my closed eyelids. I was able to stay in a vibration mode for over an hour - while there I had twitching hands, floating sensations, total swelling of the body. My head felt like it was completly seperated from my body or vice versa. It felt like my body was gone, like I was all head. I thought maybe that my crown and brow chakras weren't energized and that my astral head was stuck in my body still. So I tried to raise energy there (I wish I had read Chrism's post on chakra breathing - trying to bring energy there was a mistake - I think) I got tingly feelings up to my crown. That lasted for awhile. I'm not sure why but I had the thought to try the kechari mudra - so I tried it - this jolted me out of meditation. I sat for awhile and let all the sensations and thoughts soak in. After standing and moving around I was sick to my stomach had a horrible headache and i felt something in between my eyes(not pain, or anything physical - but defintely there). Later last night I felt heat rising in my spine. I went to bed early and woke up headache free. Very eventful for me.... Guest guest
Umm, hi Margo! I could be wrong (there is always a good chance of that) but I don't think concentrating energy in your head chakras is what was cautioning against. He was talking about clearing those chakras with breathing through them, if I'm correct. Years ago when I tried to OBE I got many of the sensations you did including the bodyless head. It seemed that my body was " out " , floating, but I could not put my consciousness in it! My physical body felt paralyzed and shaking/twitching and then 'snap', it was all over. I never did make it work so I turned to the dream method which suited me much better, and now I'm having some successes in meditation. Still, I don't feel like I'll know what it's all about until I do it the OBE way. Don't give up - people are succeeding every day....... -richard O Kundalini-Awakening-Systems- 1 , " mrshorse_fool " <mrshorse_fool wrote: > > While meditating Sunday I was attempting an OBE.
