Guest guest
Well you should check yourself out anyway. Its easy enough. Raise one arm and place the hand on that arm behind your head. With the other arm start at the armpit and press with your fingers into the breast tissue in a wide circular movement feeling for small hard objects. Continue around the outside of the breast in a clockwise direction. You are feeling for small hard objects about the size of a small stone (gravel). Go as thorough and deep as you can. In this circular motion spiral in to the areola and then repeat with the other arm raised. I know quick and clean. I used to perform these examinations in a medical setting. Its been some years but I believe the technique is still similar. Continue and do not worry, but check yourself out as well. Knowledge is also power. Allow yourself to remember the dream and the details of what you were thinking about the surgery. Where you were standing, who were the people with you. What were others removing from their breasts etc. If you can then fine add it to your knowledge base if you cannot then do not worry Elektra, even if you do feel something do not worry as it isn't going to help. Fear always is the challenge so check yourself. Then make your next move based on strength of knowledge not fear and yes God is helping you, to help yourself. - just my take -
Guest guest
Hi, I have had breast cancer twice and totally agree with this description of self examination. To add to it, I found both cancers myself, they feel like very hard (in my case tiny as I found them early) bb's (although other non-cancer things can feel that way too) but the most interesting is that I was able to know something was wrong before the doctors, insisted on mammograms when they did not feel anything and actually could feel the cancer growing. It felt like a little sort of tug at the site of the cancer. My issues have always been giving too much and not keeping good boundaries so I have had heart and breast issues that reflect that lesson back to me. Most might not be able to feel the cancer (the docs were surprised) but my bet is that those on this list could. So I thought I would say this.
