Looking Forward

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking forward to tomorrow too!

Question: When I do the alternate breathing through each nostril, I

often notice that the right side is more blocked than the left. Is this

significant? Does it point to an imbalance I can work on? And what

would that be?

I hope everyone can enjoy themselves on this journey!

I've added the chakra breathing to my daily routine Chrism. Though at

times it's hard to get everything in each day when I get too busy. Then

I just do my best to do all that I can. Thanks...!

be well,

hi, actually it's completely normal for the breathing system to work

this way. you should notice, however, that the 'open' nostril changes

sides at different times (there is some sort of physiological cycle

but I'm not the expert to ask about that). if yours doesn't it may be

useful to consult a specialist, I don't know if there are long-term

consequences. breathing exercises make us more conscious of this

breathing situation. on the other hand when you've achieved the

shallow and full breathing that 'feels' as though it's coming from

both sides of the nose and makes no noise and barely any visible

movement, the sensation should diminish or even seem to disappear.

it's not magic and you're not imagining it - but if you get giddy

about the sensation you'll lose the state.

cheers

Hello Bradly, No worries about the blockage. Do the breathing through both nostrils. This is as much for balancing the body systems as it is for Nadis, Pingalla and Ida stimulation. Both sides will help to keep the flow balanced. if you feel to much of an energetic phenomena, stop for a time. -

No Bradly, it is normal that one nostril flows more in one nostrilthan the other and that will alter in dominance every hour to hourand a half. The right side activity is due to physical activity andthe left is due to contemplative activities, it is only a problem itone flows continuously for days. It can be taken as forewarning thatillness is about to happen and one should take appropriate steps inbalancing out the nadies. An interesting idea is that if you can be aware of the breath in thenostrils for 24 hrs, I have read one opens the heart centre. I havetried it with and amongst other things and it do open one up to newexperiences but gees I have found I really need my sleep especiallyliving in a poisoned world so I never continued it. Trying to do itnow days to me just seems impossible; maybe I missed my chance ofcontinuity of consciousness. Maybe I may have a chance to try itagain some day. Who nose? :-DJohn M. , "curball2002"wrote:>> Hey Everyone,>> I'm looking forward to tomorrow too!>> Question: When I do the alternate breathing through each nostril,I> often notice that the right side is more blocked than the left.
