Guest guest
Well, Stephanie! May I (for one) nominate you as "Extreme Cool Dudess of The Century"! Since you like guitar, are interested in alternative medicine, and would like to help the world by changing the barbaric medical practices of this "modern world".. .. I have come to this conclusion: you're too old to be my child--SO---are you one of my younger sisters??? I wish I could speak to my Dad about this --(God rest his naughty soul). Perhaps I can work on some spirit contact with him! Stephen-Stephanie??? Hmmmm... Don't you have reddish or auburn hair TOO??? DOUBLE HMMMMmmmm... By the way girlfriend--If you don't have a man at the moment..uh...how could you fit him in that schedule of yours! Goodness! BUT---If I run across any hyper, super intelligent, Million Mile an Hour Male friends With a soul as big as Colorado :)--- I'll have him drop you a line! (If I can catch him in between projects!). Good luck on all you do! The world can use people like you! May Great Joy and Peace Permeate your Busy Lil' Soul! :) Stephen C. - Stephanie Lyon Friday, December 22, 2006 10:46 PM Re: Re: Motorhome I am a 39 year old single mom (divorced 6 years) of three boys, 18, 16 and 14 years old. I own and practice in my own acupuncture/colorpuncture clinic and work fulltime as the Academic Dean of a Traditional Chinese Med. school, I own my house (which before I go the dean job last year, I was sure I was going to have to sell and arrange a different space for myself and kids) and now two cars and two crazy cats. I am in the process of studying to take the MCAT since my pre-med courses are relatively old, and applying to get into medical school. I am exceptionally interested in integrating the eastern and western philosophies of healing and living, and feel that by combining an MD with the Chinese medicine I already practice I will have the knowledge of both systems to best fully serve any person who comes for my services. I am fascinated by quantum physics, energy healing, manifesting our thoughts and beliefs. For leisure, when there is time, I read Rupert Sheldrake, Clive Backster, the Science of Mind, and for artistic endeavors I play the guitar, sing, quilt, write, am learning to play the banjo, and may actually be invited to play with an alternative band, which would be a huge stretch for me. So, there's me, basically, in a nutshell at this timestamp. I really do not fit in anywhere specific, you know, I guess pretty much guided and creating my life as I am propelled. I guess my "motorhome" is relationship. I do not know or understand the relationship karma that I have brought into this life, but oddly, it feels as though it has recently burned off, and finally I can focus on what I am here to do now and not worry so much about being with the right person. I know that God/Spirit/Divine Love is my Divine Right Partner in every moment. So, not much else, except a large pile or two (or more) of papers! Much Love and Joy to All! Guest guest
Stephen C., I am honored to accept your nomination for ECDTC......Hahaha, thanks for the very early morning laugh. You have completely cracked me up. Thank you for your support and love. My hair IS auburn, too, btw. Too old (*ouch*) to be a daughter, eh? Probably a sister, I could have used an older, wiser, more ancient brother --- where have you been?? ;-) I'm sure we can meet up with your dad and get his insights and thoughts. SOMEthing MUST be done with healthcare and awareness and integration, and I feel I am in a very unique position, or will be shortly, to help pave the way. And, I figure, at my late age, ahem, I'd better get moving on it, got lots to do, you know, in this life. I laugh at "hyper", I cannot imagine a single person I know who would describe me as hyper. Maybe crazy or a kook, something like that, especially my kids. I dunno where the Colorado big-souled, big-hearted, big-brained, thriving fella would fit in, either, but I rest assured that when we do meet up, we will work it out. And remarkably, I am joy-fulled and very peaceful in all that I do, which is a very cool way for me to be. Immense Joy and Peace back at ya! You, yourself are a Divine beacon in this realm. Thank you for your presence! Steph
