Guest guest
I would like to hear more. Though I have never taken drugs in the past, I have had several signs lately for me to look at that decision. This group talking about it on the heals of some other events leads me farther. Might be in my path. Guest guest
I just do not see this as a drug. Its not made by Phizer, it isnt banned by any country, it isnt addictive, and it is a stimulation of a process that already occurs in the body in smaller dosages, every night. Technically it is a tea, which is a food. It does induce an altered state but so does nutmeg. I would rate it on par from a gastronic point of view, with 3 shots of tequilla which is all its take for me to spew! I know, cheap date... , " Sam " <dallyup52 wrote: > > I would like to hear more. Guest guest
what Ayahuasca Tea.. is, is just another form of DMT http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/ayahuasca/ please research this- dmt is produced in the body naturally. http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/dmt/ there are also synthesised forms. but with yoga, you achieve the same stimulation. there is also a form called elephant yoga (or something like that) where after the meditation process you produce a drop in the gland in the back of your throat. Guest guest
One of the active ingredients of Ayahuasca is the DMT molecule and yes it is the substance that I was alluding to regarding sleep. But it isn't the entire picture. There are other active ingredients that contribute to the teachings this " light bearing plant " has to offer. The phyto nutrients, the combinations of tannins, the alkaloids of the admixture plants all these work in special combination. DMT when used alone does not compare to the actual jungle raised Ayahuasca. Terence McKenna and others did much research on this and I have websites and sources to support this. We in the West try to strip things down and isolate a specific cause within our investigations without regard to the combined whole of a specific (in this case) plant. We do not understand or seem to want to understand the complex patterns and combinations that are the results of millions of years of evolution. In the case of Ayahuasca in some preparations 17 different species of Banisteriopsis caapi are used. The shamans, who were given the preparations by the plant itself, as they relate it, had very little contact with each other. And these preparations can go far beyond the mixing of DMT with an MAOI. Straight DMT which is oddly enough a controlled substance even though the body produces it will not typically " Teach " its users. Yes splendid visuals " the place of a thousand blue eyes " and many interesting places and feelings but not " the teaching " of Ayahuasca. I do not promote a drug induced version of the Kundalini. Or an artificially derived version. I support the slower conditioning techniques of intention and practice and Shaktipat. But if a person feels called to go an ethneogenic path then this is the one legal and productive way that I can support. - my take on it - blessings - chrism

Guest guest
I would say that the plant is a medicine if anything. It's certainly not recreational in any shape or form. And DMT is found in all plants and life I think. It's just that some plants have larger amounts of it. The plants will guide you through the removal of many blockages and " evil spirits " and help you to become purified and healed. The altered state is the arena it uses to propell you along. I imagine that the Peyoti cactus would also have been very helpful at night for rainforest dwellers, as when you take some you gain night vision, so the cactus could help you travel from village to village without fear and with the sight of a fox. Cool. Love Elektra x x x Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.
Guest guest
Chrism, I am using the loaded word " drug " too freely. Sorry about that. I have not used any substance that alters the way I process experience without some forethought. That of course includes most of the food that I eat and the way I process my environment. This is the reason that I live my life aligned with the " safeties " depicted on this list. This way of processing the outside environment makes a great and positive impact on my experience. Where can I purchase this " tea " ? BlessU Sam , " chrism " <> wrote: > > > I just do not see this as a drug.
