Guest guest
" The Bottled Water Lie " http://www.alternet.org/story/43480/ corporations bottling water are known to have little to no respect either for the environment from which they extract this water nor for the municipality that in many cases is 'paid off' for the company to tap the local municipal supply. they set up shop and drain local aquifiers; their agressive collection often reduces natural streams to a trickle now devoid of native fauna. as has been admitted by at least one executive (Coke), their product (Dasani) is in fact tap water, in the UK in fact it's taken straight out of the local supply [http://www.commondreams.org/headlines04/0304-04.htm] (Reuters 2004) [http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/3523303.stm] (BBC News 2004) the water is purified by reverse osmosis, a simple process known for decades, and one that can be cheaply done by any private individual, and this doesn't defluoridate the water if it came from a fluoridated source. ** Judith Snyder, brand PR manager for Dasani, confirmed " municipal " water supplies were used but said the source was " irrelevant " because it " doesn't affect the end result " . ** bottled water is perhaps the biggest scam ever perpetrated on human beings, far more so than fluoridation propaganda would be even if true (which is doubtful at best) - the simple fact is that bottled water is an over $8B dollar a year market, and needless to say, selling filtered tap water is rather profitable. beyond that, bottled water may fall under quite different quality standards depending on its point of origin, because environmental regulation does not apply to private commercial water and it's under jurisdiction of local laws and in the US, the standards of the FDA, not the EPA, apply. last but not least most of the anti-fluoride propaganda came from anecdotal accounts in the early days of fluoridation when there was little to no regulation of fluoride amounts. -brian , chrism <> wrote: > > This is another reason for spring or bottled water. - > > " deepdance1 " <deepdance1 wrote: hi all.. i've just read of some research that found high concentrations of calcium in the pineal gland. the cause may be floride in water. the nazis and russians used floride to make prisoners docile. so who is trying to make us docile or is this just conspiracy junk? > love, > -steve f > >
Guest guest
hi brian..i read the articles you posted and i'm aware that large corporations are scamming the public. but this does not prove that flouridation is safe. one of my issues or causes has always been the feeling that from birth we're presented with this hand-me-down world and that it's our responsibility to challenge outmoded thoughts and practices. is it wrong to think we should have a say in what kind of water we're ingesting? -steve f
Guest guest
I would still recommend spring and or bottled water taking into account that it isn't coke or another " tap' source. Do a little research on the brand you are interested in. There are also " Brita " filtration systems that are not to expensive as well. I as some of you know, enjoy the Tahitian water brand and the crystal geyser brand both of which name the source. Crystal Geyser may be environmentally unsound but I have not gone there to see. Yet. I will be flying in to Tahiti to check on that source next week. " Fuel the Jet!! " Regardless, drink as much water as you can and stay hydrated. This is important for the Kundalini process in you. -
Guest guest
yes - because it comes in many cases from fluoridated tap sources, the bottled water may not be itself free of fluoridation. you can find and ingest non-fluoridated water easily if that's your intent, and many water supplies particularly outside the US do not fluoridate, in fact it is forbidden by some countries if I recall correctly, including Germany and perhaps 5-10% of US cities. the " corps are evil " rhetoric is just part of it; the public demand turning bottled water into a $7.7B/yr industry isn't all due just to duping consumers! -brian , chrism <> wrote: > > I would still recommend spring and or bottled water taking into account that it isn't coke or another " tap' source. Guest guest
I understand that fluoridation may not be that good for the body (I used to take fluoride pills as a child--which probably explains while whole sectors of my brain seem not to work at all, LOL!). However, some of the most prevalent diseases in the US are caused by our passion for greasy food, sugary sodas, and possibly the most sedentary lifestyle in the world. Also, transgenic food and, now, meat from cloned animals may not be all that good for our health, either. Plenty to worry about, and it's not just the tap water... Guest guest
The water from my tap smells like bleach, disgusting really. And the water in huston texas, wow, really bad, smells like swimming pool water. And flouride is one of those chemicals that just stays in the body. In iceland they have fresh spring water in their taps, bath in spring water, drink and cook with spring water, thats paradise. Guest guest
I always like to bless the water I drink. Water is like a tape recorder, it stores information, you can programme it. So, even when all I have to drink is low grade tap water, I just bless it and tell it to be purified sacred water. Writing nice messages on the bottles of water is great too. I write things like kundalini or alkaline on the water. Love, thanks, health are just a few of the many words you could write. It has been proven to work by changing the water 's crystaline structure. To find out more about the amazing power or prayer on water google Dr. Imoto and see what he's been up to. Guest guest
Yes! Dr. Emoto and his studies on thoughts and things on water crystals. Awesome! I've seen him speak twice here in Denver. HIs research is quite remarkable, a real reminder of how powerful our thoughts and words are on Life. Blessings! Stephanie
Guest guest
I don't like it when the water smells like chlorine or when it smells like sulfur or has a metal taste. It would be heaven though to have natural spring water as a commodity. Moving around like we do, you get to sample all sorts of water. Guest guest
I will have to google Dr. Imoto and find out more about the water. I will also start writing it on my bottles I buy. Guest guest
I believe that many powers above (gov.) understand fluoride all too much. If they make us a little docile everyday, then the herd can be handled more easily. I use Brita water filtration. Yes, I believe the Illuminati are at work these days :-[ deepdance1 wrote: > > hi all.. i've just read of some research that found high > concentrations of calcium in the pineal gland. the cause may be > floride in water. the nazis and russians used floride to make > prisoners docile. so who is trying to make us docile or is this just > conspiracy junk? > love, > -steve f > >
Guest guest
have you looked at modern entertainment, US systems of public education, or the war on terror? :-) how much more docile can we be, even without chemical doping? snippets of truth are allowed to 'leak' out only well after counter-moves to all likely public responses have been calculated, weighed and measured. and only done after the system is so well-entrenched that there is little to no risk. paranoically yours, -brian > I believe that many powers above (gov.) understand fluoride > all too much.
