Guest guest
Elektra, I have some sage leaves that I burn to clean as well. What kind did your friend give you? What I have doesn't last very long, burns out quickly! I love the smell of it. My friend told me when my son hurt his toe to mix sage with baking soda into a paste and put it on his toe to help in reducing the swelling and low and behold it worked. Anyway, I haven't tried it as a tea yet though. I love hot tea! Anyway, sending hugs to you! How is your friend John? Anyway, have a wonderful day...Blessings and Love. Guest guest
Sorry for taking so long to reply, busy with friends and enjoying my beautiful holiday to thailand My friend gave me some sage that was small leaves , with a velvet texture, I can ask her if she knows what it was called. Great tip about the toe, I will keep that one in mind. I remember a good first aid tip I once heard for heart attacks, give cayenne pepper in hot water to restart the heart as it gives an instant nutrient boost to the heart. Handy to know. My friend John sounds amazing, I spoke to him on the phone only two days after the op and he sounded full of life, happy to be free of the pain I guess. He is such a wonderful man and really determined. Thankyou for asking...... hope you are feeling better, big hugs to you, Elektra x x x Katherine Miller <katsam19 wrote: Elektra, I have some sage leaves that I burn to clean as well. Guest guest
No frets Elektra, I knew you would respond when you had a chance to. I am so happy that you were enjoying Thailand with your friends. As for the sage, that would be terrific. Great tip on the cayenne, I always keep that in my cupboard. I like the all natural remedies. If you run across any more I would be more than happy to hear about them. It is just a wonderful thing to hear about John. My heart goes out to him during his recovery, but it sounds like it won't take very long. The attitude he seems to have it one of outstanding faith in himself and his healing and the determination as well and that is what is needed. Please keep me posted on his recovery. As for me, I am doing great! God has really helped me! You know, you just don't realize how much of a staple your parents are until they are gone, both of them. If feels rather strange to be parentless in the mundane world, having them here physically. It takes getting use to and I find myself wanting to call him still, but I know that some of that will always be there, that desire. I have the list and my sisters and friends and I have God. Thank you for asking Elektra. I hope you have a wonderful day, many Blessings to you!
