Guest guest
Recently I had an idea for a ceremony come to me and an inner guidance telling me to share it with as many people as possible. It's called a forgiveness ceremony. I'm going to gather my multiracial group of friends together and we will each ask forgiveness for all the wrongs " our race " has done to another and then give forgiveness to all others. You stand in a circle then in two's you go to the centre of the circle and look at each other. For example an african american girl and a white girl. The white girl bends on one knee and asks forgiveness for all the sins of her race against the other, they hold hands and the black girl answers " yes I forgive you on behalf of all my people, thankyou " then they hug and walk back into the circle. Each race, religion and country forgiving one another through us holding small ceremonies. The person asking for forgiveness passes a seed (for an olive tree or anything will do like a stione or a flower) as a gift to the next person, until everyone has accepted the seed and everyone has given it. When the ceremony is finished we will all plant the seed and watch it grow. I have in my friend circle chinese, tibetan, african, american, german, jewish, english, french, arabic, living in china (christian, buddist, taoist, jewish, pagan, muslim). I think we can do alot of forgiving. After each of us has forgiven each other and ourself (on behalf of all humanity) we will then do the same for men and women, ending with asking the earth to forgive us all while we hold hands in the circle. I thought that if more people joined in and did their own spin on this we could spread even more racial and religious forgiveness. Before we can have peace, we need forgiveness. I am very excited about this. Hope you like the idea, love you all, Elektra x x x The all-new Mail goes wherever you go - free your email address from your Internet provider.
