Guest guest
I too had asthma, or the onset of it at least. I never began meds for it but found something online that taught you how to breath again. It said that people with asthma hyper ventilate and need more carbon monoxide in the lungs, and that by doing some simple breathing excercises you could cure your self. I did the excercises for a week and had immediate results. I would think that by doing yoga and the daily breathing excercises you have cured yourself. well done and thanks to Shakti !!! I'm over the moon for you as I know how annoying asthma can be. Love Elektra x x x --- Leshya <pleiades69 wrote: > It's a miracle. Or is it Kundalini? Guest guest
I had chronic bronchial asthma from birth, including several (short) hospital stays and half a dozen trips to the ER for breathing treatments... 4 pills and 2 inhalers a day from ages 5-12. chiropractic for 3 years was the only thing that seemed to result in any improvement. age 14 (around the time of the experience I described), it ceased to be a chronic problem. aside from the occasional flare-up from allergens, and 1-2 attacks every few years, I've been breathing normally again for the past 13 years. I can't say one caused the other, but they definitely correlated in my case. -brian , Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: > > I too had asthma, or the onset of it at least. > I never began meds for it but found something online > that taught you how to breath again. > It said that people with asthma hyper ventilate and > need more carbon monoxide in the lungs, and that by > doing some simple breathing excercises you could cure > your self. > I did the excercises for a week and had immediate > results. > I would think that by doing yoga and the daily > breathing excercises you have cured yourself. > well done and thanks to Shakti !!! > I'm over the moon for you as I know how annoying > asthma can be. > Love Elektra x x x > > > --- Leshya <pleiades69 wrote: > > > It's a miracle. Guest guest
I agree about the jet lag. My son lives in Prague, CZ and we both have been visiting back and forth for 17 years. I " saw/felt " a change in him a number of years ago which had to do with not being bothered by jet lag and some sort of time compression that makes us think jetting off to Europe is like driving to the city. And, a couple of years later, it happened to me too. Pretty interesting to say the least. (Of course I continue to supplement that with the " No Jet Lag " thing from New Zealand which helps even a little more but is not rresponsible for the major shift as we both have flown without it.) Guest guest
Thank you. It all shapes us in some way; little surprise I ended up with interest in the metaphysical, I guess :-) Wasn't exactly on death's door, but I was a pretty sick kid for several years, and a lot of outdoor activities were basically out of the question, as either allergy or asthmatic triggers, or too strenuous on my health. Strong emotions also seemed to act as a trigger for the episodes. Seems like so long ago now :-) but high excitement (good, bad or otherwise) still has this affect sometimes, though to a much lesser extent. cheers, -brian , Leshya <pleiades69 wrote: > > I'm glad to hear that you rid yourself of that awful ailment. > blessings
