Guest guest
Had one more last night during meditation. Funny thing is, my meditation was fairly shallow yesterday... Anyway, this is how it went: A cone of light blue light appeared inside my body. The tip was hovering above my second chakra. The base was above my head, and had a golden rim. Seconds later my facial skin got pulled up, my mouth opened, and my tongue took a spontaneous kechari mudra. Then the energy flooded my body. For a few seconds, an intense electrical current engulfed me. It was overwhelmingly physical, very different from the usual energy high I get from meditation. It felt like all my wires were being fried--in fact it felt just like when, as a child, I stuck a finger into a power outlet. After a few seconds, the energy subsided, and I could release the mudra. I am profoundly grateful for the energy infusion. However, since the phenomenology was not new, I didn't get the usual emotional high afterwards (the blend of astonishment, surprise, thrill, etc. that is common in the face of unexpected K events). It was hard to fall asleep after all that energy, though... :-) Cheers, Sel
Guest guest
Thanks Sel... I'm not sure who would be the most surpised at this.. myself or my wife. :-) I guess it would seem normal after a time though. Kundalini is very different approch from what I have tried to do in the past - my thought was always to leave the body and progress through inner channels. I haven't read any emphasis on this with Kundalini. I guess all paths lead to the same place, however. Thanks for your comments... Guest guest
Selena, I am just curious, what is your meditation method. I have yet to find one that helps me be consistant. If you have any suggestion please pass it on to me. How many times a day do you meditate? Blessing to you! Love, Katherine selena230 <selena230 wrote: Had one more last night during meditation. Guest guest
Thanks for this message Selena, it brings up two points that I find important. One is that response doesn't always seem related to effort. This is important for me to remember because Grace is as Grace does and it is beyond my expectations. However I also cannot forgo effort because it often pays off as well. The other is familiarity to these events. They always get my attention but I am not now as blown over by some of these occurrences. However this also changes my judgment of the event as usually I need to feel it beyond a certain threshold for me to validate it to myself. But I think some familiarity has raised the threshold as well as reduced the emotional response to an event so this is no longer a good guide. For instance I very often have luminescent vision, but it is so common now that it doesn't seem so different. This gentleness is something new I think I need to accept while still recognizing it as an ecstatic or K experience. Best Blessings- Bret > Had one more last night during meditation.
