Monsanto Corporations extensive use of heavy handed tactics to force farmers into using more and more pesticides and genetically altered plants as well as the general publics use of such chemical devices for irradication of certain plant varieties has severly impacted the populations of Honey Bees in North America. The demise of these polinators of over a third of all crops in this country is going to be a heavy blow not only to the human populations but to all the other species that live and thrive off of the fruits and vegetables the honey bees polinate. Polination is part of the reproductive cycle of many fruit bearing plants. Polination allows for the plant to produce fruit from which the seeds of the next generation are born. California is one of the worst areas. Apiarists - bee keepers from the east coast sent 15 hives out to California last year and all 15 hives were destroyed. Dead hives. Multiply this times many thousands and you can see the decline is very rapid. You wont read about this much in the main press because of corporate ownership of the main press. This year we will have the harvests that we have come to expect. Next year with over 90% of the Honey bee populations destroyed or removed from pesticide laced agriculture, there will less and less of the fruits and vegetables the US populations and our export partners have come to enjoy. Please join me in a boycot of Mansanto Corp. and all of their products used in agriculture and medicine, immediatly! And let us call for a repudiation of all pesticides used in agriculture. - blessings to you and the Bees - chrism

Guest guest
Hello Chrism I have done a web search and read a bit about Monsanto and I agree with you. I tried to find out some of their products so that I could boycott them by not buying any products that are from their genetically altered seed, or medical products. Most of the time when you buy vegetables, and some other products you don't know where they came from, or if they are altered genetically. I don't know how to boycott them. Would you give me some ideas and I will be more than happy to boycott this Bad Monsanto Corporation. Guest guest
Hello Stephen, Buy " Organic " as much as you can. This is healthier for the Kundalini anyway. Do not purchase any kind of insecticide or herbicide or fungicide or snail bait or rat poisons or anything that is a simplified way to kill. " Round Up " is made by Monsanto. These are " easy " ways of killing life. If you feel the need to weed do it with your hands. We must learn to share the planet. - my take - chrism

Guest guest
I respectfully have another idea about boycotts Elektra. My take on them is they are a form of communication to a company by a portion the population the company markets to. Tuna netting killing dolphins was a boycott here in the states. Grapes were boycotted here in california because of poor working conditions for migrant farm workers. A boycott is an opinion by people directed at commercial enterprise for an alteration in how business is done. Many people in California would like to see a decrease in the pesticide and herbacide and fungicide use in our world. The loss of species is increasing at an astounding rate. 1000, 000 fish die in Colorado from a lack of oxygen? The gulf of Mexico has a 7000sq mile dead zone There is a dead zone the of Rhode Island off the coast of Oregon Three weeks ago thousands of crows, pigeons, wattles and honeyeaters fell out of the sky in Esperance, Western Australia. Then last week dozens of grackles, sparrows and pigeons dropped dead on two streets in Austin, Texas. Ponds and swamps are becoming eerily silent. The familiar melody of ribbits, croaks and chirps is disappearing as a mysterious killer fungus wipes out frog populations around the globe, a phenomenon likened to the extinction of dinosaurs. " Every third bite we consume in our diet is dependent on a honeybee to pollinate that food, " said Zac Browning, vice president of the American Beekeeping Federation. I am ok with being judgmental on the side of fellow mortals. - blessings - chrism Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: But whatever happened to non judgement? Guest guest
Hi Chrism, I'm all for wise spending and concious shopping, I'm just not sure about calling companies " bad " . I think that we polarize ourselves and this isn't helpful in the long run as it just manifests more of the same. Like when Bush won the last election, everyone was so " against or for " Bush, with powerful emotions behind it, so what happened was we got more of the same. All I'm saying is don't judge companies or people, just be for the things you want rather then being against something you don't want. The doorway back to eden is non judgement as only through the tree of Good and Bad were we out of paradise. I think that this applies to all things. Just my humble opinion though, and I'm glad that you and everyone here is loving the bee's and the earth. I have never bought these kinds of products anyway. Natural products is what I am " for " . Being kind to the earth. So, keep on keeping on Love and respect, Elektra x x x --- chrism <> wrote: > I respectfully have another idea about boycotts > Elektra. Guest guest
Chrism, both you and Elektra state good point. I just know that I want to help out in what ever way I can. I love honey and I love the sound of bees buzzing nearby, so something must be done, not to mention how bees play an important part in the pollination process. If they aren't stopped then we won't have the foods that are good for us to survive. Chrism, let me know what I can do and I will help you! Guest guest
I'm also seeing that its a form of leadership...maybe even parental in a way. When we see something that hurts our children and living things, disciplining the offender is a positive thing. Saying, " no, we won't do that, nor support it " brings it into the light for others to also take notice. Someone has to take action and draw the line opening the way for healing to occur, to break the flow in the poisonous direction. Seeing and acting is heroic in this case. A positive thing? This is healthier for the Kundalini anyway. Do not purchase any kind of insecticide or herbicide or fungicide or snail bait or rat poisons or anything that is a simplified way to kill. " Round Up " is made by Monsanto. These are " easy " ways of killing life. If you feel the need to weed do it with your hands. Guest guest
Hi Electra Sometimes it is important to take a stand. I don't know if it is judgmental or not. I am not against death, and the poisoning of our planet, but I am for life and betterment. If every one just goes completely passive and doesn't act on their beliefs things will stagnate, and no progress can be made. I believe having positive results takes positive actions. Guest guest
Just another thought. It isn't a judgement. It is a decision to do what is right. It also says in the Secret that after the visualization you also have to act on the coincidences that come up as if you already have the focus of the visualizations. Guest guest
I'm sorry Electra. The reason I said " Bad Monsanto " is because that is what most of the websites where I was looking for information were saying. Some times I can be like a parrot. Sorry if I offended anyone by saying that, and I am glad you only buy natural. Guest guest
Hey all, I haven't read the whole thread, but my opinionated lower self can't resist the urge to jump in (so much for spirituality, LOL!). I agree that passing judgments is polarizing and dualistic. However, I also think that some things in this world are really, really WRONG--one of them being Monsanto's agenda, which is best summarized as " screw up the world's ecosystem in the name of quick profit " . (Though screwing up people for profit seems to be the common denominator among big corporations--see Naomi Klein's " No Logo " ) Some causes are worth fighting for, and fighting for a good cause requires a healthy degree of upset. By " healthy upset " I do not mean hatred, of course, but rather a keen awareness of what is right and what is wrong, as well as the desire to change things. Personally, I have always thought that what Monsanto is doing to the world is unexcusable. Somebody has to say it out loud--to say the least--for things to change; as with any other just cause, expressing a strong condemnation is the first step to raising public awareness. Bitchily yours ;-) Sel
Guest guest
I feel Elektra has made goiod points and though I understand the necessity of recognizing the " bad " in myself and the environment it isnt needed to focus on it or replicate it. Our points and opinions are in harmony as much as two different opinions typically are. It isnt required to agree with eachother all the time. Nobody is always right. People have different opinions and I value hers and all the opinions that get posted here. - Katherine Miller <katsam19 wrote: Chrism, both you and Elektra state good point.
