I will briefly tell of some of the ideas that have been discussed in

the Esoteric Christianity course. The course here is two weeks. The

first week was Esoteric Christianity: The hidden wisdom of the Bible:

explores hidden meanings and mysteries of the Bible, reveals

Christianity's esoteric emphasis on the awakening the spirit within,

as well as ancient origins of this hidden wisdom. Explores esoteric

Christianity's inner practices to build mystical awareness. There

was an introduction to the old testament and we discussed some of the

exoteric and esoteric meanings. We discussed some contemporary

approaches and also false concepts (ex.The Left Behind series). We

also got into the water and fire mysteries and how being conscious of

the different energies throughout the year can enhance our lives.

The dean, Carol E. Parrish-Hara, taught many, but not all the

sections. The week ended with the four fold mystery of Christ. If

you are at all interested in any one piece, I could do my best to

explain in more depth what was discussed. The second week is

esoteric Christianity: mystical path of transformation:examines

mystieries of Christinaity for a deeper understanding of the Self-

within. We learn to see the life of Jesus Christ as the pattern of

initiation that we each seek to follow. Explores new information

concerning early Christianity, especially concepts regarding the

development of the Christ Within-the Hope of Glory. Some of the

sections include introduction to Gnostics, Sitchin's research, step

of initiation, sacraments, ChristoSophia, The Mysteries of the

Rosary, and an emerging new world view. As you can tell, there is a

ton of material covered in the two weeks. It has certainly been a

fascinating journey thus far! I was raised catholic and knew as a

child that there had to be more to it than what I was being told. I

feel like this class can helped to explore some of that " more " . The

website for the school is www.sanctasophia.org if you want to give it

a look.

Dear Jessica,

thank you for your time.

To keep the list happy I am only tempted to ask you more on the

following:

" The hidden wisdom of the Bible:explores hidden meanings and

mysteries of the Bible, reveals Christianity's esoteric emphasis on

the awakening the spirit within,as well as ancient origins of this

hidden wisdom. "

Especially " the awakening the spirit within " .

The rest is even more interesting but I am not sure if the list's

purpose will be matched with it :)

Thank you Jessica!
