Guest guest
Well I awoke this morning exactly at 3am to find that it felt as if the top of my skull was gone. (in a line going around just above the top of the ear level) This is continuing and my mind is trying to make sense of it as in 'If that is true, how can I feel my eyebrows? " or " Is my brain then exposed or is eveything just empty? " So I gently just hush it up and try to have it stay away from creating visuals so I can experience what there is to experience. 20 years ago when I had a very strong and rough awakening without knowing what was going on or even having heard the word kundalini, I felt that the top of head, about a 6 inch circle, was open and that I could not go outside or the sun would burn it as well as many other distressing symptoms. I eventually learned to open it or close it at will so I could then function. This time it feels sort of disconcerting but not at all alarming and, if it stays this way, I am sure I can operate in the world just fine. Today many wonderful things will be happening so it will be very interesting to experience them all from this new " topless " perspective, lol. I can feel the breath go into my nose and down to my lungs, my eyes seem somehow suspended in about the right place (I feel what feels like air movement and coldness in the eyes, especially in the right one) and I can see but the rest of my head fells totally empty and I have flashes of feeling my the skull but that experience feels like cold and air touching what would be the inside of the skull, and then, flash, all there is is the wonderful void again. I had many other experiences of each chakra during this shaktipat, but this is the strongest and most unusual for me. In gratefulness, Sherri

Guest guest
..... things that may a newbie go " wow... At my present (pre K) stage, it sounds like it would be more than a little disconcerting. ;-) Blessings... Guest guest
How amazing! I haven't been blessed with the sunroof sensation myself, but I remember reading Robert Bruce's recollection of it. For him, it also seemed to expose a huge number of finger-like protuberances coming out of his head (!), which to him felt no less physical than the rest of his body. Amongst other things he could feel them turn towards people he directed his attention to. I can definitely understand how that might take some getting used to! Guest guest
Hello Igor, What are your symptoms?
Guest guest
Its not painful or a nuisance. It feels as if you are open to the universe and is a natural part of the Kundalini process. From this stage a person can gain some of the " Siddhis " or exalted skills. Much information and feelings of an intuitive nature can come to the person experiencing this - it is a very good occurrence and shows a definite progression in the development of the Kundalini. A closer and clearer communication with the " High self " or the divine is now being established. This is a real thing. This is where all of you are heading who walk this path so take note. - Paul F <paulffff wrote: .... things that may a newbie go " wow... Guest guest
I don't have feeling in my head to that extent, but I have a generalized numbish feeling from my eyebrows up. Pretty much in a line around my head like you desribed. It actually dips down near my ears too, as though I had a helmet on with ear flaps?? I am also having a heck of a time trying to concentrate the past few days. Guest guest
This is called " the Golden helmet " in Kundalini terms. It follows the route that a head wearing a helmet would take with the exception of the ears sometimes it will go around them and sometimes include them. Like a Roman Helmrt. Down to the nape of the neck in the back. This is a pre-spinal sweep mode and can clue you to an eminent full spinal activation - .
