Guest guest
Hi, everyone. I have a question, possibly a bit late, now that I'm doing some of the recommended safeties. After reading about some of the physical discomforts and apparent vulnerabilities one may expect once starting this practice, could you tell me what the goal of Kundalini is? I just want to be sure I'm not getting into something that could be detrimental to one who " lives in the world " as it were. If I lived alone, in the country without family to worry about it sounds like it would go better. But I have a family, I'm out in the mainstream world, if you will, and getting away from negative people, news, etc. isn't realistic for me. Should I still persue this? I don't want to open myself to being bitten by this power! Adivce? Would you recommend any particular reading or video to get my mind around what I'm in for??? I think I want this but I want more info, I guess. Thank you, Valarie
Guest guest
Valarie, Not to worry. I had the same concern when the process started years ago, but have been doing just fine--at home, at work, and in every aspect of my life on the physical plane. Guest guest
The Kundalini in you as well as your higher guidance will mitigate your awakening and process. We have members who are doctors and scientists, professors, physicists, administrators etc. People are doing well. This is a change but it is a change that is natural to the human condition. Very few people have become incapacitated and yes I know the internet abounds with horror stories of people whose life has purportedly been wrecked by Kundalini. Sometimes that does occur. It hasn't occurred here because of the practice of the safeties. It would be immoral of me to tell you that I could guarantee your flow would be pure bliss day and night with nary a challenge or hurdle for you to learn from. It is a condition ripe for learning's to be certain. Most of the lessons are about who we are and how we can best express through our bodies aspects of divinity that is available to those given knowledge of the existence of the Kundalini. No accident you are here. But also you have the choice of not going to where this leads. The goal of Kundalini is an expressed form of divinity in the flesh. Here we use aspects of love such as forgiveness and compassion and truth, honesty, diligence, patience, trust, surrender, service. Here we follow the Kundalini footsteps of saints and ascended beings who have left markers for us to follow. Jesus Christ Krishna Buddha Saint John of the Cross Saint Theresa of Avila Saint Francis The lessons for the mind and the mechanism for the body are in place inside you right now. Why would they be there except for your opportunity? Kundalini forms the bridge that one walks to and from in living a life that is exalted and earthbound at the same time. Family, friends, employers, country, state, and county, and city. All of your life can be continued and expressed with in the parameters of walking a " higher " path. Much of this path will be unique to you and your circumstances up to this point in your life. You will be given what you need to flourish. Your job is to surrender to those surprising gifts and experiences that will typically come your way. You will need to source yourself and make your own decision. –
Guest guest
Dear Chrism, thank you for that reply. I will continue. I know it's doing something as I awoke this morning after my first evening working on it with some unusual feelings. Buzzing in my body, a pain in my right eye, ringing in my ears, a pain in my right jaw, a slight weightless feeling off and on and something like a kind of pressure in my back just above my hips. Had some pressure in the kidneys today, strongly, so am upping the intake of water also.So something is happening already. I will start doing yoga as well as my usual cardio thing I do 3 times a week. Much prefer the yoga anyway. Thanks for your advice. And we'll see what happens (she said, biting her lip...). Blessings to all, Valarie Don't get soaked. Take a quick peek at the forecast with the Search weather shortcut.
Guest guest
If it's any consolation Valarie, I've had similar concerns. I think I've convinced myself to stop reading of other people's experiences - they seem to do more harm than good (as most deal with the negative aspects of awakening). I wish you love and happiness.... :-) Blessings to all.. Paul >Valarie Vousden <vjvousden > > > Re: What to expect...? >Wed, 28 Mar 2007 18:35:13 -0700 (PDT) > >Dear Chrism, thank you for that reply.
